We are three weeks in and our OL is still in disarray. WEEI has this poll up and it seems exactly the kind of poll we should have going as well.

Two to three weeks ago Id have said hell no. Today Im thinking he might be a necessary evil if we want to keep #12 from an early retirement.

Yes, I've been in favor of adding him for a long time. He would be an instant upgrade, and some toughness to the line that was lost with Mankins.

This should not even be an option. Incognito has proven to be a cancer everywhere he's been. Introducing him into this line that's already in turmoil would be a disaster imo.

Yes. With the NFL under the microscope for Domestic Violence and Child Abuse, lets bring in a guy who is a known womanizer, locker-room cancer and lacks intelligence..

We'd hear the wails from Myra Kraft's ghost across the nation..

Remember, this is the team that cut Christian Peter after they drafted him because of rape allegations.
This is the team that cut Kenyatta Jones for throwing a boiling pot of water onto his roommate.
This is the team that cut the kicker during TC who got into it with his father.

But, yes, let's bring in the guy who womanizes at a charity golf event, bullies teammates including threats to kill the teammate's family, and who has had issues at each stop he's been at..

we need to toughen these guys up. who better than maniac incognito?:D

but seriously, this would admit that we're desperate..

I don't think he's that good.......tough yes, but he's lousy in pass pro

Great points. Just one clarification: he didn't womanize at the golf event. He sexually assaulted her with a golf club in broad daylight in front of teammates. No thanks.

I would think that our locker room is strong enough to withstand whatever negative impact he might bring there.

But I am against panicking right now. There are still in house options if Wendell gets healthy and/or Stork developes quickly. They need to settle on their best 5 and for the love of god dont let that include Devey.

Devey has to go and Solder needs to do better and I think the rest will round into form.

I know most aren't huge fans of Wendell but he has to be better than Devey and hopefully Stork can be even better. Get Connolly back to guard and either Wendell or Stork at center and we should be better than we are right now.

I think because most people had a poor opinion of Wendell that its kind of been ignored but this team is without 2 starters Mankins and Wendell and everyone seems only focused on the Mankins move.

Get healthy and get some continuity going and we should be better off. If the problem still continues then maybe go try and find someone else and I would at least consider Incognito at that point but not yet. Given the trade deadline though this needs to start looking better fast or we will have to act fast via trade or Incognito would be the only option assuming noone else panicked.

BS. Those were allegations which were never proven in a court. If so many ppl saw Incognito assault her, why wasn't he indicted?

Totally on boad with bringing him in. Patriots finally have managed to field a good defense, it would be a shame to lose this season because of atrocious OL play

If he creates trouble, he can be cut at any point

On this one, I believe you've got cause and effect backwards. Apparently, as soon as the Pats found out Chris Hanson was available , they cut Danny Baugher, who then got arrested later.

Because he paid her off. Since this nugget of information might be hard to find let me help you:

BS. The Dolphins acknowledged he paid her off. 30K I believe.

Is he training or totally lost since what happened last year? If he's on NFL shape i'm ok , it can't get any worse. Also, can they trade Solder or that option they signed do not allow that?

Incognito? I just can't see him being here.;)
