Did you watch Marcus Cannon get forcefully raped today? Our quarterback is 37 years old. He cannot. .. CANNOT continue to absorb those kinds of hits.

When I think of NFL metaphors for "forceful rape", the first thing that comes to mind is Justin Tuck using Mankins as a human turnstile in the two Pats-Giants Super Bowls. I have no interest in seeing Tuck abuse Mankins yet again.

I'm sorry, but he might help but it isn't just Cannon that has had problems on the o-line and Mankins wasn't a great pass blocker last year himself. If Cannon was the only problem, then you would have a point.

You're absolutely right. And that's what's scary. The entire offensive line is one, big issue.

You prefer yours fresh?

It would have at least looked better than what the Pats fielded today.

Mankins has, in those games, and would have held up much better than what we fielded today. Mankins looked better on a torn ACL in Super Bowl XLVI than Cannon did today.

QB: B- (can't forgive that Gronk overthrow where he was cutting across the field with no one around him for at least 10 yards)
RB: B
WR (Edelman) A+
WR (others): C
TE: B
OL: D
DL: B
LB: A-
DB: B

I agree but it's not just one guy on the OL

They've got to play better together and I'm going to hope this is a wake up call - for the entire team - and we'll see a much better product on the field next week

Frankly with the hits Brady was taking I'm actually amazed and impressed he was able to complete as many passes as he did, and spread the ball to as many receivers as he did

Give him some time and continue to spread the ball and we might have a contender

While I'd like to see the OL provide better pass protection as the top priority, 2.4 yards per carry from the RBs isn't going to get it done either, and the OL can't ignore that part of the game either

I'd feel a lot better if Dante were still there - even if they were playing badly I'd be confident they'd turn it around and be performing well by the playoffs. I'm less confident of that this season.

QB : B…I'd grade him lower but it's hard to tell when he has only milliseconds to throw before he's hit.

RB : B-…Very few holes through which to run, but can we please not be forced to see another episode of
Bolden in the Backfield again?

TE : B…through no fault of their own, except for Gronk's drop in the EZ.

Minitron : A+
WR without Minitron : D-

OL : F, for each of them.

DL : B…Zero sacks in 2/3 games, and Chandler & Ninko play 100% of the snaps, just like last season.

LB : B…Another long opening-drive score allowed through mostly short passes.

DB : B…There still hasn't been any demoralizing, long completions allowed, unlike the 2009-12 seasons.

ST : A…Only one bad return allowed.

Coaching : D…Skippy Thanksdad McD is terrible.

It was definitely a good move to trade Logan Mankins. O-Line: A++. They looked like world beaters out there. Marcus Cannon is a bona-fide starter in this league.

During the birthing process it can be gruesome and painful, so the sarcasm is merited.

I want to estimate when it will be over.

How many weeks until All the newcomers are playing their new positions?
How many weeks before they are competent and cooperating?
How many weeks until we see the benefits?

KC 15 QB hits
Cincy 21 QB hits
Bills 13 QB hits
jets 23 QB hits

the pats gave up 6 hits on Brady to a team that only had 2 coming into that game the pats just may go 4-0 but they will get Brady killed if they think they will throw the ball 40 times vs any of does teams they need to get the run game and the screen game going
