I am usually in the stadium about 1 hour before the game starts to avoid the traffic at the gates.

Yesterday I got to the gates 25 minutes prior to kickoff (could see the clock in the stadium) and the
lines were unbelievable.... They moved at a snails pace and people of course were not too happy
with the movement.

I got to the gate 5 minutes after kickoff, so I was in the line to get into the statium for at least 30
minutes.

There was also chaos for the people who had the clear bags.
There were no signs, so when they got to the gate, they were told they had to go to a different location
and those people were not too happy.

When I got to the gate there were two lines closed, because the hand held ticket scanners were
not working. Maybe they should invest in a couple spare scanners in the future.

I have been going to games for a long time and I should know better, but I want to pass this on to the
fan who maybe hasn't been to the statium for a while or the fan who is going for the 1st time.

If you are going to a game, go early..... get to the gates at least 1 hour prior to kickoff.

Tickets are too expensive to miss a portion of the game, because you are in line trying
to get into the stadium.

And the best of luck to those of us who have to rely on the crappy train from South Station.

FYI, on the other end of the equation, I arrived just after 12:00 and walked in without any wait at all.

I always show up pretty damned early anyway. You never know who will show up on the field for warmups beforehand and I like to take a lap or so. It's kind of a ritual now.

We are usually in right around an hour before so I dont run into the pregame rushes and lines. But from experience through the years the first game is usually the worst and stadium ops run smoother after but that doesnt change that most people try and squeeze one or two more regular priced drinks in just before the game and everyone rushes the gates at the same time.

Talks of adding 20,000-30,000 seats to the stadium arent going to help this problem either.

How early did you arrive at the lots? I'm going to the Bengals game and want to get a close parking spot to the stadium and Patriots place.

More importantly....why do Kraft and Mini Kraft sit in booster seats towering above their guests. I get douche chills every time I see their box seat thrones. Marky Mark, Bon Jovi, Steven Tyler....tiny to begin ...all could use a couple pillows under their arses as well.

Let me give you my experience. I used to park out at Americas Value Inn. I figured it was easy out, and it was about a mile walk. It was 40-50 bucks, and I think 50 was just playoffs. Last year I started using stadium parking. It was also 40 bucks. I parked in the lot near Bass ProShops, which I am almost certain is P6. It was much closer, but longer to get out. If you are an impatient lot leaver do not part there. Yesterday it was full, so I continued on to P10. It took a little longer because of traffic and needing to make the left turn while heading North.
This was much, much, much better. The walk was shorter and getting out was 10 times better. I will park there from now on.
Any one else who wants to share parking success or fails, please do so.

maybe hemorrhoids runs in the family?

I went in 45 min early yesterday. No line. In in 5 min. Lasts year the Pitt game we got at gate 20 min early and was in like for 40 min....

Also NO traffic at 10 AM. I mean none.

I park at value in like AJ. 30 bucks regg season compared to 50. Left at very end of game. From car to rtf 1 was 10 min...so easy. Love that lot and will always use it. 25 min walk.

I am going to the Bengal game as well. I'm more worried about a mass of people leaving EARLY if the OL plays like it has so far! :(

I'm a post-game tailgater, so never worry too much about traffic.

I also enter about an hour before kickoff and have never had a problem getting in quickly.

I am at my lot (americas value inn) at 10 AM and we are usually 2nd row so maybe 30-40 or so cars before me

If you want close stadium? Get there for when the lots open..which i think is 9 or 10 IIRC. Someone who parks in those lots would know. Usually 4 hours before game time

Getting to the game at Minnesota was rather interesting. Since it's a college stadium it was much more difficult if not impossible parking near the stadium. Had to take a bus 5-10 miles just to get a miles worth of walking away from the stadium. :D

Thanks for heads up. Official site says lots open 4 hrs prior, so they will open at 4pm that day. I'll try and get there ASAP to ensure a close spot. Maybe have my +1 use her handicap permit too.

Me too. For whatever reason the crowd yesterday was late arriving.

Come early and If you're driving park as far away from the stadium as possible so you can avoid the insane traffic getting out of Gillette

I'm going to the Detroit game with comp tix in the Putnam Club seats. First time in the Razor. Might get the parking pass too. Any access tips would be aappreciated. TIA
