Other Week 3 NFL games

ugh wish we kept Blount. Not that it would matter because we don't block anyways.

Bell looks to have great run vision.

So, finally back in the States I'm jacked & pumped and tune in SIRIUS NFL radio for some real football fix and first thing I hear Ross Tucker lament that "Since Peyton Manning didn't have a chance to get the ball in OT, the NFL needs to revisit the OT rules again"

WTF???

So, it's the league's job to constantly tweak the rules so that Peyton Manning gets another ring?

Now you've got it!

i'm starting to hate the seahawks as much as the broncos. just as much leeway manning and his receivers get on offense, setting illegal picks without flags every play, that defense is allowed alot more leeway than any other.

some of those hits they put on manning were WAY WORSE than what hightower/jones did week one..but no flag. That one where the player literally launched himself in the air at manning?

He sure did, and it should have been flagged. It was a very late hit right at his head. I'll be shocked if Welker makes it through another season.

Officiating in that game was atrocious. They also got away with a "high/low hit" on Manning.

that was the most talib like missed tackle i have ever seen.

Tell m about it. What was talib thinking going low like that on marwhawn?

How about when Manning trips and is on the ground. At that point just touching him ends the play. Two Seahawks jumped on him.

One thing in that Denver game...after the safety, did you see that punt by Jon Ryan? The guy hit it 80 yards in the air.

I'm not kidding. I just watched it again - he hit it on the 20 (of course) and the Denver returner caught it at the freaking goal line! That was one of the biggest plays of the game.

Some Denver fans are complaining over this. "It's not fair that we didn't get a chance." They weren't saying that 3 years ago when they had Tebow and they knocked the Steelers out of the playoffs. The rule was all good then.

Peyton is effingn amazing. How people can discredit him is pathetic. His is much better than Brady.
Peyton is the master at completing 5 yd passes. Throwing it 45 times a game, not trying to develop a run game. He's good but he's one dimensional. Punch him in the mouth and you can beat him.

The NFL overtime rule is pathetic. Either make it a full extra quarter or give both teams one offensive possession and then if they're still tied it becomes a sudden death game. The way they have it now is lame.

The games take too long. That's why they don't do that.

Careful there Boogs. The legend of Tom Brady was built on the dink and dunk. It's so funny how some Patriot fans cannot honestly evaluate their own.

You need a better comedy writer.

The reason doesn't matter. It's lame and a major sport like the NFL should have a more fair overtime set-up. If you score a TD the game is over but if you only score with a FG the game continues and other team gets a shot?? It's arenaball gimmickry. Lame!!

What strikes me most about this week's results: after just 3 games, only THREE undefeated teams remain in the NFL. Last year 7 teams went 3-0.

Brady is much more likely to run on you. He's not afraid to use it. Plus he can still throw a good long ball over the top. Brady just needs a deep threat receiver.

When it was first score wins, people *****ed. Now, even though you need the TD to win, and a FG gives the opponent an opportunity to tie or win, you're *****ing. Here's a newsflash. The only way to make overtime "fair", and not gimmicky, is to not have overtime.
