Looking at the pats ,even I can tell double JE and see what happens. Also rush 5 once in a while up the middle as seems that we cannot block 4 .5 will be better.

But the smarter coaches in NFL do not do it. When will this happen.?.

Is it me but gronk is slower and not his smooth route running self.

When this happens how will things shake down and who will step up.

They attempt to double Edelman all the time, the Patriots just motion him away from it, or he splits it with his quickness

Edelman aka the artist formally known as JAG, aka the artist formally known roster bubble player cannot be stopped he can only be contained. The kid made himself into a pro bowl quality receiver. He is one of the greatest Patriots success stories of the Belichick era.

Hey, good to see you Satz. Post more.

Don't forget Gronk tore his ACL just 9 months ago.. give him more time.

No question other guys need to step up. Wright's looked good when he's out there. Thompkins seems to run good routes, but needs to start catching. Hopefully Dobson can take over Lafell - whose not even a JAG IMHO.

right now there is no reason to put two on Julian Edelman why free up other WR's when he is only getting 11 yards per catch and has only 1 TD its not a knock on Brady or JE but the offense right now without the defense getting them turnovers is going to have a hard time putting up 20 on any team even if JE has 100.

lets just hope the defense keeps playing like they are for a full 16 and playoffs until the O can get it going

Then Tom will throw to the ghost of Rob Gronkowski.

Then what will we do? If the OL can play consistently then Brady/we will connect with Gronk and LaFell and Vereen and Amendola and Thomkins and Dobson.

If the OL doesn't learn to play consistently then we will, at best, have to grind out wins on the back of the Defense until such time the OL does start playing consistently.

IMHO the OL's current level of play overshadows any other weak spot on the Offense. No QB can operate a potent passing game when pressure comes this quick as well as too frequently without blitzes.

It's a balancing act between guys getting open and the line holding up. So far this year, it seems like when the line holds up guys don't get open and when guys get open the line doesn't hold up. Everyone just needs to be more consistent.

I think Brady needs to take something from Garapollo's book, 3 step drops and get rid of the ball fast. You know the Jets in a couple of weeks will blitz 75% of the time, and Tamba Ali next week will spend all game in the Pat's backfield. If they can't buy Brady more time, this will be a long ass bad season.

Did you do a typo on that 11 yards per catch? Because that's a first down every time, and maybe they should throw to him every time.

Next four games - over/under on wins is 2. I'll take the under.

You do realize that we are the NE Patriots and have been to 5 SB since 2001 and won the AFC East every year but 2. The road in the AFC goes through us, don't forget that

Yeah...that matters.

Yeah...that matters.

It does, because we are consistent and prepared. We face 4 average/below average QBs, BB and company will have a field day. I'm a bit concerned with the Bengals defense because they may be the best in the league, but i'll take BB over Marvin Lewis any day of the week

I'll take Gisele over Patricia.

If they double JE, Brady is just gonna have to learn to throw to himself.

my point is the rest of the offense is not doing anything 10 rec for 84 yards is far from taking over a game but its still a good game but not worth double teaming him if only two other guys crack 40 yards
