Other Week 3 NFL games

Agreed. Lafell brings nothing to the table. Sanders would have been a huge addition.

Sanders is just another secondary receiver, a poor man's Edelman. The Patriots need a Demaryius Thomas (and an offensive line), not an Emmanuel Sanders.

Watching the Denver bench after Seattle scored in OT, I think some of them were McNabbed and didn't understand the OT rules, thinking they were going to get the ball and a chance to score...

Make sure everyone tells their friends and family Denver lost because if they watch Sportcenter they will be led to believe that they won on the heroics of Peyton Manning.

You called it. Here's ESPN's NFL Twitter:

" What a game! Peyton Manning showed why he's a future Hall of Famer, Seahawks showed why they're the champs. pic.twitter.com/m4cPgfTK97"

The Seahawks win the game and who do they post a picture of? Manning. Who do they feel the need to ball-wash? Manning. ...It's just sickening.

Sarcasm? Sorry it doesn't always translate perfectly over text lol
You know I wrote “Ok maybe it does” and then deleted it, I guess I should have left it. If Sanders and Welker can make plays on a team with D. Thomas and J. Thomas I have a hard time believing DA and LaFell cannot be productive on a team with just Edelman and Gronkowski playing 1/3 the snaps.

You know, we can say that all we want, but I expect if LaFell or Amendola were on Denver and Sanders was on New England, we'd be saying the same thing in reverse. Manning, even against Seattle, had longer to throw than Brady has had ALL YEAR.

Pretty much the truth. The Denver offense just clicks better, in large part due to the Thomases, Clady, and the interior line. The Patriots are just weaker at every position (TE, at least, will be an advantage when Gronk is fully healthy).

Peyton manning hasn't won an overtime game in 10 years.

I honestly thought that was a dumb stat for the announcers to bring up. I'm pretty he hasn't won an overtime game in 10 years because he didn't have to. He either won most of his games without needing to go into OT or just lost. OT games are rare.

I wonder what Lebron James thinks about it, we should make that are Sunday Conversation “Lebron James on Peyton Manning’s performance against the Seahawks in week 3 of the regular season” now that is going to peak the ratings…

Yeah well that is obvious they could never do what they have done this season without Jordan Devey... .o_O

1. Seahawks
1a. Broncos

What Peyton Manning offense since 2002 has NOT clicked as well or better than anyone?
We don't have to like him, but just like it took me a long time to come to terms with MJ (vs Bird)...I have come to terms with Manning (vs. TB).

Cue to us bashing Manning on choking the coin toss.

I may be misreading your post here, but I'm joking that it's ironic that one with such a giant forehead would lose after calling tails.

Manning drove them 80 yards in 50-ish seconds...he is an excellent qb and gets my respect, that was a great game. Something about Wilson annoys the hell out of me...

So, anyway, I got what I wanted. All the teams I wanted to lose, except Giants and Ravens, lost today. And our team won. Feels like another 24 hours have been added to my day.

Great game Broncos vs Seahawks. After watching that game it is clear the pats are not even close to the same league as either of those teams.

I missed that, very good point. :D

That's fine. It isn't Jan yet. Once Jan comes...we will find out who stands tall. Pats usually start slow and that;s the case again this year
