Week 3 Thursday Night Football - Bucs at Falcons

Glennon did comeback down 41-14 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd qtr once....

I think Peterson is an S&M connoisseur who has his switches crafted from cured coolibah tree branches and imported monthly. He has a selection of different weights delivered directly to the "whupping room" of each residence where his various offspring live.
Someone needs to "whup" his ass good with a finely crafted old fashioned hickory ax handle.

Jesus, just checked the live score right now since I'm in a dinner, Tampa is bizarre.

I put some money on the Falcons -6

Falcons money line 1.33, I thought, this game must be in Tampa, when I looked and figured it was going to be in Atlanta, home game, coming from a defeat, against a crappy Bucs, I thought, this is free money, but I went conservative.

And it's wide right.

At least Tampa bay is consistent.

I wonder when the last time was that an NFL team was down by this much, this early? The Pats-Titans game in the snow a few years ago perhaps? Keep in mind that stat-wise Tampa Bay has vastly improved late in the second half, though they are still down by 35 points.

Half Time Stats

It's like FSU is playing their homecoming game against Sam Houston State

Of course, the ending to this story was that Sharpe's Broncos lost to the Jaguars in the divisional playoffs, while the Patriots beat the Steelers and the Jags to advance to the Super Bowl.

Against TEN it was 45-0 at the half.

This is why Thursday night football sucks. It seems that one team plays lights out and the other looks like absolute do-do. Same thing happened last week with the Ravens/Steelers game although not to this extreme.

Bobby Rainey. It's not hot potato.

Seems like that's how it was a lot of games last year, too. One team is able to put a solid plan together in the short week, and the other goes in really wishing they had a few more days I suppose.

So much for all the fantasy football owners that thought they would be slick and start Bobby Rainey when they saw Doug Martin was inactive, against the NFL's #26 ranked rushing defense.

Gholston is still in the league?

Edit: it's William Gholston. And Tampa likes celebrating when they're down 35.

I hate to admit it but I started him in one of my leagues.
Wow

Tampa Bay keeps kicking the ball to Hester.

Why?

Reminds me of when Parcells kept kicking the ball to Desmond Howard, except this game is of far less importance.

another lone whiner/complainer. In 24 hours the fans won't even remember this game and everything will be business as usual....I have this from a source inside Goodell so you better shut it or I'll have you investigated by Goodell's new, crack DV Unit....the Stygian Witches
