Suffice to say, TB12 took a different road to NFL stardom than Peyton Manning did.

I can't imagine Manning ever had to prepare a resume "just in case".

Bachelor of General Studies sounds nice.

3.3 GPA with Academic All America honors. How tough were his classes? Who knows. But he does come off as relatively educated, and it was University of Mich which is considered one of the better universities.

It's not like he went to a southern college or anything.

No doubting TB is a VERY bright man. I've just never heard of this particular degree; sounds like something out of Animal House, or like "Bachelor of Whatever I felt Like Taking At the Time."

I wonder what it would say if you read it backwards, "Why can't Amendola get open??" "Why can't this line protect me??" "I did not see Welker take Ecstasy." "I am really mad."

Merrill Lynch internship? So if he hadn't made millions playing in the NFL it's safe to assume he could have made millions on Wall Street.

Looks like his only paid working experience was at golf courses. He might have wound being the guy serving you mimosas at tee-off time. Or he could have been a psychologist, too. Imagine that. Tom Brady the shrink. He certainly knows how to get in a defense's head.

Did you miss his Merrill Lynch internship? That's actually a pretty big deal.

For me, sound this like an incoming "Farewell and Goodbye"!

What's the revenue for a single U of M game? Or the season's revenue? 100,000 seat stadium persistently sold out. With concessions it may be $10MM per game.

Do you have your off-and-on starting QB filing papers at Merrill Lynch during the summer or figure out how to get him practicing all summer? Doesn't make sense to me given the importance of the football program to the university.

Or I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he only had to spend a week or two at the job total for his summer's requirement.

Given that he would've been a celebrity in Ann Arbor, the Merrill Lynch internship in an Ann Arbor's broker's office wouldn't necessarily be much of an accomplishment, nor would it be a straight on walk to Wall St. IMO.

Not really. Summer internship at a Merrill Lynch branch in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

BTW, notice he graduated EARLY in December 1999. Most players don't even graduate.

For a young college grad, it's a solid resume. When you consider his work ethic and intelligence, it's not hard to imagine he would have done quite well in life as an average joe. He'd be a 49ers fan. And we'd have about 25% of our current numbers on this forum, probably arguing over what to do with our Top 10 draft pick next year.

at the end of the day he still would have had a good/great life a good job his a good looking dude so you know he still would have had a hot wife. so no fame and millions without football but still a lot better then most people
