Anyone want to talk about the Raiders? What the Pats need to do to win? Who they need to stop? etc

Cursed franchise and as charles woodson said last week "we suck".

No real weapons on O so i expect a very good game from the D. I want to see the O pick it up. At home finally. Lets get more people involved.

Would love to see a deep pass or two but to who?

I would like a win and no significant injuries. I'd like to see some progress from the offensive line, possibly getting some more people involved in the offense, and continued aggression on defense, but those are secondary. I don't really care about too much else in this game.

1. Win with no injuries.

2. Pass protection sorted.

3. Stork at C, Connolly at G.

4. Dobson getting involved in the passing game.

Those are the four things I'm looking for the most in this game.

I so little about the Raiders. The only things I know is that they suck and Alex Carr is their QB. Other than that, I know next to nothing (ok, I know some of their players).

I know they've got Khalil Mack and a washed up Justin Tuck.
Like everyone else, I also know that they really suck.

It rhymes...

- Pass protection. The Raiders have a good DL on paper. Eventually they have to start playing better together. Or maybe the tread on Justin Tuck's and LaMarr Woodley's tires is all gone.
- Defending the big play. The Raiders offense has a few players with big play potential. Let's see how our defense contains them.
- Our DL vs their OL. The left side of their OL is pretty good.

A few Raiders players I'll be keeping an eye on:

- Khalil Mack: Curious to see how he compares to Von Miller/Anthony Barr type LBs.
- Sio Moore: He was a binky of mine a couple years ago. Binkies 4 life.
- Derek Carr: I see a good future for him so I just enjoy watching him in general. Really fast release.

Defense could realistically shut them out. I don't think the offense will tear their D apart though.

Big, powerful, but slow offensive line. Good possession receivers on the outside with Rice and Brown. But Charlie Garner is really the guy that makes them go. Shut him down and we'll win easily.

Watch out for Woodson on D---still a playmaker.

So far the Raiders have two sacks on the year. I don't the hits or pressures, but they seem to be far better up front on paper than in real life. Although Tuck has been mediocre for a year or two prior to this year. And he might not even play this weekend.

Raiders D could wreak havoc on our oline. Patriot killer justin tuck and khalil mack could be deadly...

This is bonus round, I'm really not worried about this game.

Want Brady to throw some 5 TD's to different people.

In a couple of years, Khalil Mack could be deadly. But he's still cutting his teeth in the NFL right now.

Mack still too young.

Want to see Gronk and Brady connect a little bit better

Also, In the past the pats have not done great against QBs they've never seen before. Derrick Carr is a rookie, but capable. Didn't he throw for 4 TDs against Seattle's starting D in the third game of the preseason?

I THINK the days of the Pats D giving up 500 yards and 3 TDs to the Campbells of the world may be over. This D is much better then those years.

I Hope so - still have bad memories of matt flynn throwing 6 TDs on us.

I know it's the NFL and not college, but this is one of those games where we have to show the pollsters that we deserve a shot in that four-team playoff! We can't just BEAT a team like the Raiders in our house for our home opener before the real season starts, we need to fire on all cylinders and pummel them into the dirt.

I want to see 150+ rushing yards, 300+ passing yards, 35+ points, 4+ sacks, 3+ forced turnovers, and a 24+ point differential. This Raiders team has about as little talent as it's possible for a football team composed of NFL players to have right now. If we're really among the NFL's best, we should put a world-class whipping on them.
