Many seem to ignore this and don't realize our offense will be exposed against great defenses
I just take Viagra...
I was actually just referring to the pass game Ivan, I just don't see this receiving core being a point of strength against the likes of teams with great secondaries which we will ultimately face if we are talking superbowls. But if indeed they are leaning more to the run and more balance offensively than i totally agree with you there and would feel more confident in our chances going that route.Couldn't disagree more. I think the whole point of what they are trying to establish on offense is to prepare themselves for the really good defenses. They are going bigger on their OL and they are going to JUMBO packages to straight up run it down the throats of their opponents, which is a welcome change in tactics imo. They still have to protect but that's a tough road to hoe if you are backpedaling all day and never dishing out the hits. I would much rather see lower point totals and wins that rely on better defense and ball control than another season where they are pass dependent and lose in the play-off's against good defenses. I'm not that worried about where they are at right now and all that really matters is how they develop as units and a team over the season, and I want them to be the physically dominant team on both sides of the ball and that obviously starts with the lines. And nothing helps a defense more than a good run offense that can dominate TOP. I say, let them learn how to run the ball 25 times a game again and let Brady develop their passing game from there. I think this offense is just tuning up and I am looking forward to see how they come together over the next couple of months.
now THAT depends...reminds me of my younger days when I worked moonlighting as a bouncer at Lupo's Headbreak Hotel, a rock joint in Providence. We served dollar pitchers of Pabst on Tuesdays and the biker gangs would always show up and start trouble with the Brown guys with their chicks, after downing a few. One of my best lines was "get the fack outta here before I give you 55 slaps..."...funny thing is, I never really got in any altercations...guess it was cuz I was a pretty big jerk myself..

They may lose a few more games before that happens, maybe none.

SD is a very jekyll and hyde team. Wont be surprised if they crap the bed sunday . Wont tell us much about either team I think. The most interesting game of week 3 to me is the Chargers vs. Bills. Are the 2014 Bills for real, and with two divisional games vs. the Pats, how much more difficult does this season get if they keep winning?
The Bills have pulled this routine more than a few times, where they collapse mid season after a promising start but so far this year have looked much improved.
The Pats game @SanDiego could be tougher than vs. Denver after watching the Chargers beat Seattle.
The defense seems to be fixed. I have no idea where the improvement will come from but the offense has to get better if this team does not want to go 9-7 or 8-8. What is scary is that the offense had great field position all game because of the defense and the pats were only able to get one running TD (on the one yard line because of the D) and one passing TD. Yeah the pats scored 30 points but only 12 were because of the offense.
12 points=offense
6 points= defense
12 points special teams.
This isn't good enough.
the first 4 games after Oakland KC cincy jets and bills will not be a big test to the defense Jamaal Charles is out for the next 5 to 6 weeks A.J Green maybe out vs the pats, what dose 4 teams will test is the pats OL they are 4 of the best DL's in the NFL and we will get to see if they can keep Brady on his feet,
after that is when we see if this defense is for real six of the best pass offenses in the NFL back to back to back its going to be fun to watch
