I just take Viagra...:D

The Pats are going to need the offense to be much better when we hit the NFC North portion of the schedule.

I trust Belichick to get the biggest Superstar for each of the NFC North teams kicked off their respective teams three days before the Patriots game. Domestic violence, PEDs, child abuse, recreational drugs, farting in public, whatever. It'll all get you suspended by Roger Goodell or placed on his mythical "Commissioner's List."

Aaron Rodgers will probably get suspended for bad commercials, Megatron for being too tall, and Jay Cutler for having a face that you just want to smack for no reason whatsoever, like Eli Manning's.

Belichick must be pissed that Wes Welker will be back. He was sure that a little Ecstacy in his Mint Julep would get the job done.

The NFL ought to count the money Belichick spends on private investigators against the salary cap.

Many seem to ignore this and don't realize our offense will be exposed against great defenses

Couldn't disagree more. I think the whole point of what they are trying to establish on offense is to prepare themselves for the really good defenses. They are going bigger on their OL and they are going to JUMBO packages to straight up run it down the throats of their opponents, which is a welcome change in tactics imo. They still have to protect but that's a tough road to hoe if you are backpedaling all day and never dishing out the hits. I would much rather see lower point totals and wins that rely on better defense and ball control than another season where they are pass dependent and lose in the play-off's against good defenses. I'm not that worried about where they are at right now and all that really matters is how they develop as units and a team over the season, and I want them to be the physically dominant team on both sides of the ball and that obviously starts with the lines. And nothing helps a defense more than a good run offense that can dominate TOP. I say, let them learn how to run the ball 25 times a game again and let Brady develop their passing game from there. I think this offense is just tuning up and I am looking forward to see how they come together over the next couple of months.

now THAT depends...reminds me of my younger days when I worked moonlighting as a bouncer at Lupo's Headbreak Hotel, a rock joint in Providence. We served dollar pitchers of Pabst on Tuesdays and the biker gangs would always show up and start trouble with the Brown guys with their chicks, after downing a few. One of my best lines was "get the fack outta here before I give you 55 slaps..."...funny thing is, I never really got in any altercations...guess it was cuz I was a pretty big jerk myself..

I was actually just referring to the pass game Ivan, I just don't see this receiving core being a point of strength against the likes of teams with great secondaries which we will ultimately face if we are talking superbowls. But if indeed they are leaning more to the run and more balance offensively than i totally agree with you there and would feel more confident in our chances going that route.

I think this is when we will really see what type of team we have. I would rather make the playoffs after beating a ton of playoff hardened teams than making the playoffs after beating a bunch of cream-puff teams

The bikers would attack Hispanics when they got drunk? Reminds me of Fort Lauderdale.

LMAOOOOOO Joker you probably fit in with the guys dancing with women and stealing somebody's GF. I was to easygoing to be a bouncer, better to try to get everybody to get along than snatching somebody up and running him out.

As for our schedule, some members want Brady to throw for over 400 yards and. Have 4 different 100 yard WRs. Truth is he has years of chemistry with Edelman and Gronk. Gronk isn't 100% from the injury and Edelman while productive doesn't exactly draw double teams and game plans revolved around stopping him which leaves other WRs consistently wide open and Brady isn't finding them. When Amendola or Loser Lafail does get open its a combo of Brady not looking their way first or has time to go through progressions. When it takes 6 lineman to block it means there are less WRs on the field, so how much opportunity is there for multiple WRs to have big games. While extra olineman should give the receivers time to get open, Brady is still throwing it to who he trusts, especially in conservative situations. Its not like Edelman is drawing coverage like an elite WR and leaving Lafell and Amendola open and Brady isn't seeing them open and practically uncovered and Brady is missing it.

Gronk isn't Gronk right now. He isn't dominating nor is he getting open. His burst and athleticism isn't even close to his first game back last season. He is plodding around like a blocking TE. He should not be playing right now. They should be getting gronk up to speed in the training room and practice right now. Again they are rushing his return due to the lack of an established #One WR. Which is why an established #One WR is need to the team, not a luxury because Gronk misses to many games. Even if Gronk plays every game at 100% a speed or big play WR is needed to stretch the field. But with Gronk out the offense needs more than just a speed or big play WR, Brady needs that speed or big play WR to be an established consistent #1 who can make plays on his own. Its why Gronk although great and an elite TE is not in the same league as aj green, Calvin johnson, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, demaryius Thomas dez Bryant and others. Gronk is a TE who has just enough speed to get open and make plays down the seam and deep. He loses a step and he is a plodding big physical TE like the others. Those guys can lose a step and still be effective and while at their best can score from anywhere on the field not just the red zone and defenses must respect that or watch the scoreboard light up. However if there is true One WR to take heat away from him, he could still be very productive when he isn't at his best.

As for the WRs and Brady going through progressions. The Online needs to give him time to go through progressions with 5 lineman on the field. I like Fleming getting reps so he can start at right guard eventually as he should be. But when that extra blocker isn't a receiving threat to them, they adjust to that which is another reason a great catching and blocking#2 TE is so valuable. It helps compensate for undrafted scrubs on the OLine and if the defense adjusts for the strong capable blocker he can burn them for big plays. I likes the idea of signing Finley or somebody compareable. Although I really like Tim Wright he isn't quite the blocker that Finley or Gresham is. Cinci would likely trade him if offer was strong since extending him would be pricey but bill never offers more than a round2 as he needs his backup qbs, tavon Wilson's and RBs for the committee. I'm all for giving Tim Wright a chance to start and block when he has to. He is about 235 lbs now, let's see if he has worked on his blocking craft enough for defenses to respect while gronk spends time in training room getting back up to speed. At least Tim Wright gives you a quick athletic sticky handed 6'4 receiving TE that Brady can trust to get separation and make plays on the ball when he is under pressure. Wright has better separation quickness and athleticism than Loser Lafell and at least as much separation quickness as Amendola but way bigger and more athletic ball skills. He should be getting reps as either the TE or #2TE or WR. Still KT and Dobson should not be benched while Lafell and Amendola get a lot of reps. KT and Dobson have raw speed and talent to become the consistent #One. You know Loser Lafell and Amendola does not have that kind of talent. They are stalling finding out if KT and Dobson can become that consistent taller fast athletic big play Target that scares other teams defenses. You know Lafell and Amendola don't have that kinna speed and talent. If coaching really feels that little of KT and Dobson to give all those reps to Amendola and Loser Lafail while benching them, then Bill needs to Frigging go acquire another WR!! And not half *** it like he did with signing Lafell. Most teams unless they draft that surefire WR will add WR with the raw talent to develop every draft in first 3 rounds. It would be silly to give up on Kenbrell and Dobson already but it is just as silly to go into the playoffs assuming Dobson will be that real NO.1 playmaker. If Bill thinks that little of KT and Dobson to give Amendola and Lafell all those reps then he needs to pull a trade for somebody like a Denarius Moore who is just as explosive and talented as Emmanuel Sanders and has made plays with total **** at QB.

Oh, how I wish more Pats fans had such glowing words about how dangerous OUR team is, rather than just talking about how imposing and intimidating all of our opponents are.

Seriously, every team loses games, but we have as much a chance at beating all of that competition as they do of beating us. We're a pretty damned good football team. Have some faith in your guys, guys...

The most interesting game of week 3 to me is the Chargers vs. Bills. Are the 2014 Bills for real, and with two divisional games vs. the Pats, how much more difficult does this season get if they keep winning?

The Bills have pulled this routine more than a few times, where they collapse mid season after a promising start but so far this year have looked much improved.

The Pats game @SanDiego could be tougher than vs. Denver after watching the Chargers beat Seattle.
SD is a very jekyll and hyde team. Wont be surprised if they crap the bed sunday . Wont tell us much about either team I think.

The defense seems to be fixed. I have no idea where the improvement will come from but the offense has to get better if this team does not want to go 9-7 or 8-8. What is scary is that the offense had great field position all game because of the defense and the pats were only able to get one running TD (on the one yard line because of the D) and one passing TD. Yeah the pats scored 30 points but only 12 were because of the offense.

12 points=offense
6 points= defense
12 points special teams.

This isn't good enough.

The offense needs to be better, but the offense gets credit for field goals. So six of the points you credit to special teams are credited to the offense. It isn't like the Pats blocked two field goals for TD or had a kick or punt return for a TD. They kicked two field goals. The offense scored 18 points (actually 20 points with the extra points), not 12. You are twisting the numbers to fit your point.

I still think the game plan wasn't to score a lot of points. It was to manage the game and be a little more balanced. That is why they were in a six man o-line formation for a majority of the game and only passed 22 times.

the first 4 games after Oakland KC cincy jets and bills will not be a big test to the defense Jamaal Charles is out for the next 5 to 6 weeks A.J Green maybe out vs the pats, what dose 4 teams will test is the pats OL they are 4 of the best DL's in the NFL and we will get to see if they can keep Brady on his feet,

after that is when we see if this defense is for real six of the best pass offenses in the NFL back to back to back its going to be fun to watch

I thought Charles was at practice yesterday, not sure where he 5-6 weeks is coming from? And Green is expeted to play this weekend.

Glass Joe is my ***** btw...haha
