Is it because it's the opener? Don't come here often? Just bought tix on tix exchange and forgot it was the top of the line game vs bottom of the line team

they must have some kickazz cheerleaders, bro...

Pretty sure because it's the home opener
That's my guess. And it's going to be perfect weather. (Not like that has anything to do with it)

Perfect football *watching* weather. Perfect Patriots *playing* football weather is, of course, SNOW.
True. But I am still in summer mode. And low 80s for kickoff is fine for me for now :)

How much and where are you sitting?

It's the home opener, and also Ty Law is being inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame.

It has nothing to do with the opponent - except for old geezers like me that to this day still want to exact some revenge upon Jack Tatum and Ben Dreith at any and every opportunity.

A bit expensive for tickets.....

104,167 ????

:)

Thanks

Corner is not bad from what I hear. Where did you find them?

I have sat in 139 before..other side corner as well..not bad at all. Ticketexchange..i am on waitlist

This geezer put a 25 year curse on the Raiders in 2001. I picked that amount of time because 2001 was 25 years after the Dreith theft in 1976. The Raiders can't win again until 2026 at the earliest. The curse has been working great.

Yup. I'm hoping it continues even past that date. I will root for any team playing the Raiders, unless, of course, that them winning would somehow hurt the Patriots. In that case, I root for SMOD, or barring that, a tie.

It's all beacuse it's the home opener and in 2001 Brady's arm was in a forward motion.

Man, these marquee game ticket prices are crazy! I had a pair of seats in the 100's on my check out screen, saw the total, $504, and thought to myself, "That'll buy a lot of beer and I can watch it from the comfort of my living room chair". I didn't click the "purchase" button. I see today that there are quite a few tickets available for this game. I have to wonder if these prices aren't part of the reason.

I hate to buy tickets to this game because it makes the front office think I'm OK with this new ticket policy but there were some great seats up on the Ticket Exchange site and the weather's going to be great - I just had to buy a pair.

This will be the first time I will 8 rows from the field in the new stadium. The closest I've been before is 18 rows. I am not looking forward to standing for the whole game but I'll tough it out. :)
