Wanted to put this in the NFL forum but I cannot find it.

Broncos fans petition to ban CBS' Phil Simms from Broncos broadcasts - Yahoo Sports

Petition by

The People Of Denver

We do not know why he is assigned to the Broncos games every year. It is sure and complete torture for Bronco Fans to have to listen to his biased drivel every week. Please sign this petition so our voice can be heard. We are tired of Phil Simms in Denver!

If you'd like to sign the petition, click here. Enough of Simms' bias ruining Broncos games for Broncos fans.

strange Anytime i hear him hes talking about how much he loves the taste of peyton mannings c...

uhh.

he seems biased towards the broncos.

This past sunday it seemed like he was rooting for KC, subtle but you could detect it in his tone.

1. Denver Bronco fans do not want Phil Simms to announce their games.

2. Simms is part of the number one broadcast crew for CBS.

3. The number one crew gets assigned to the top game each week.

4. The top game typically involves the conference's best team.

5. Therefore, that means that Denver fans wish for the Broncos to no longer be relevant and be assigned a broadcasting crew that is seen in about 2% of the nation's television markets.

Sounds good to me, since that would mean that the Broncos might follow the path of the post-2002 Oakland Raiders.

Denver fans are always crying. They're not happy unless the announce team spends 59 minutes of each game lying about how Peyton is the GOAT and that Elway is his only competition.

Last year during the Bronco / Pats game at the Razor they were whining about Colinsworth being too pro-Brady even though Brady came roaring back from a 24-0 deficit.

WTF did they want to happen? Colinsworth praising Peyton's wobbly duck passes?

Of all the Conference Rivals that have come and gone for the Patriots (Chargers, Steelers, Colts, Ravens, etc), I'll be happy to see Denver fall the most.

Going to be hilarious when their mercenaries retire and they're back to being irrelevant with no new Superbowl rings.

Denver fans are the new Colt fans. They're just like them now. I think wherever Peyton goes, he puts something in the water

I'd still put the Ravens and Jest over the Donks. I won't care about Denver once they're irrelevant again, but I still hate the Ravens and Jest.

And the Lolphins...but that's a hate from old times.

its not baseball its not the commentator job to kiss home teams ass

Simms isn't that bad

Dan Fouts and Ian Eagle are 10000000000x worse

I dunno. The inbred Colts fans are still pretty insufferable. A lot of people forget we used to be division rivals. Watch when they post on this forum. I take particular pleasure whenever they lose... even if they get screwed like they did on Monday night.

Why does everyone seem to think Simms is going against their team or really commentators in general? I've heard people on here complain Simms hates the Patriots when he is one of the biggest pat lovers around. He'll go on and on about Brady and Belichick. Simms and Nantz are the best in the business, just because they give the other team a compliment doesn't mean they hate your team now. If you want to see what biased commentating is tune into a Celtics game on CSN sometime.

I am not aware of any commentators that do not routinely slobber the knob of the Fivehead.

Maybe he does it 0.5% less than average?

Honestly, I like Simms/Nantz.. better than the Gumble and Dierdorff ****show..
