They are. Pats will win by at least that.

Plus I am going to the game on Sunday and I will be in the luxary box. They never lose when I am in the luxary box. :D

Raiders fans look to be expecting 40+ put on them, having checked NFL.com they're giving up 5 yards a carry on the ground (400 yards through 2 games) that is some terrible run defense.

They made Chris Ivory look like Adrian Peterson in his prime. Ridley should have a big game.

Speaking of Ridley - 98 carries (regular season and playoffs) since his last fumble.

For those that want to see the run game become a very heavy part of the game plan, this week looks to be just that again. Both the Jets and Texans ran all over them. Expect to see heavy doses of Ridley and Vereen.

Would love to see them come out running, get up by a decent amount first half, then go into practice mode with the pass game. Damn the "running up the score" whiners.

Get the bottom roster end guys some practice...including hopefully bolden, white, lafell, Amendola, and our rookie QBQB

I hate big point spreads like this. The Raiders have a lot to prove and the Patriots might go into this one playing not to lose. The Pats defense sucked for an entire half against the Dolphins and for the first ten minutes of the Vikings game. We don't really know what this offense is capable of yet.

The Patriots identity through two games is Inconsistent.

My head tells me 31 - 10. My gut tells me 24-21. Pats win.

One of the big problems with the Raiders has to be coaching. If you look at their starters on D, it should be a decent unit. I don't understand the Raiders. Truly, I don't.

They're totally devoid of young talent. They went into cap Hell and got out, but they missed on high draft pick after high draft pick over the years. So now, what they have is a collection of mediocrity and over-the-hill veterans on both sides of the ball.

the other big issue is the front office.

first matt flynn then matt shaub, two qb's traded for, both sucked. drafted dj hayden with their high first pick.

that whole team should be blown up late this year

They need to start with cleaning up their front office. Have the owner stay the hell out of team building affairs, fire McKenzie and Allen, hire a new GM and hope for a turnaround in the draft. They have to start by building a younger foundation and can't keep missing in the draft.

It's a fair line, the Raiders stinks. I thought they would do well this season but I watched both games because I bet on those games and they are the same crap all over again. I won the bets, raiders +8.5 against the jests and over 41 against Houston, but both bets came with a late TD with the other team playing prevent defense and allowing the kid to play. Carr is a good QB, but still doing rookie mistakes and without weapons. I think the Pats can keep them under 10 points.

won;t be betting this game...i put the house on the pats last week..now i have two!

I get them at 14.5. Might do a 7 point teaser with another team

they did fire Hue Jackson for no real reason, the raiders need to just get it over with and move back to LA

Please wait until after the home opener before giving the Raiders brain trust any more ideas about how they might right the ship.

Especially this particular quote, "Belichick's forte is figuring out what your team does well and game planning to take it away. This team does NOTHING well. We have the Pats right where we want them!"

I thought this one was even funnier:
During the game, Tom Brady can leave the stadium and drive to In-N-Out Burger to place an order, come back and have more then enough time to make a pass. Our d-line is invisible!
which is especially hilarious considering the nearest In-N-Out to Foxborough is in Texas. :D
