I don't think it's intellectually possible for real Pats fans (not the fakes with egomaniacal agendas) to even understand the mindset of Jet fans. It's like Einstein trying to understand a coma ward vegetable. One can see there is life, but the EEG is a green flatline.

The pathetic bragadaccio in the face of constant humiliation, the need to keep putting two and two together to make anything but four ... they're sort of comprehensible in a sad, loserish way. But why do they come back for more, season after hopeless season? I'd say they should "get a life" but ... even someone who has no life could find a better kind of escapist fantasy, surely.

So no little audio clips of Francesa today? Really?

After watching that debacle live, my first thought was I couldn't wait to get on here and Jets Insider today to see the hilarious comments people would make. I have not been disappointed! Whatever you feel about the Pats after a tough loss, we can alway say, "At least we're not Jets fans..."

I wonder how they figure Goodell is in "Krafty's pocket," yet Goodell hammered the Patriots with unprecedented sanctions over cameragate. Idiots.

Brady is a JAG without Belichick who only wins because he got lucky with Brady.
Yeah. Without each other, Brady and BB would be mediocre JAGs. Makes sense. Good thing "Goodell is in Krafty's pocket," or else the Patriots would be SOL. Those Green Beans fans have a pretty good bead on things.

No, both those guys died years ago. One suffered a fatal heart attack the night before their only Super Bowl win. The other unwittingly stepped in front of a bus while trying to cross the street in Times Square in 1992.

I take team pride in the fact that the Patriots have dominated them so bad it's left their entire fan base traumatized into complete stupidity.

Thanksgiving 2012 really put them over the edge. I don't think they were THAT collectively moronic before that nationally televised train wreck

Marty Mornhinweg is usually a good little foot soldier, but yesterday he put his foot in his mouth.

Their idiot fans are actually saying the Jets got screwed. Hardly any mention of blowing a 21-3 lead.

Without any acknowledgement that the Packers gifted them the first 7 points when Rodger's lineman stepped on his foot...

uh...one minor point ,Danny...you do NOT have to say "their idiot fans", just say "their fans" ...we ASSUME they are all idiots.

No need to assume, they make the evidence so clear.

Har yuck yuck yuck!!! Let's go make fun of them Packers and then ...ICE CREAM AND TOES!

PLAY LIKE A JET!!!

You think they would want to avoid words like 'gobble' that make their fans think of Thanksgiving, 'The Day Of The Buttfumble'...

Game two and he's already lost control of his team?

Can anyone truthfully say they could ever think THIS bullshyt up?

Truly the saddest sack of green turdishness that has ever existed ....what could ever possibly be worse?

"Whistling Marty", did you hear his comments???...

Remember Westhoff?? Might have known his as "Westy". Rex sure knows how to pick em!!!

I thought the bringing in Michael Vick for one play was quite effective:):):)

Bart Scott on one of the NFL Shows said that Rex was a HOF Coach..

But to root for one that's chronically unsuccessful and unlovable -- well, it's no surprise that people like that have a warped view of reality.

As someone who became a Pats fan in 1985 this is a puzzling statement to me.

Personally, I became a Pats fan in 1981-82 -- a much less successful season than '85. The worst team in football. And then they drafted Ken Sims to turn things around! So no disrespect to people who follow an unsuccessful team.

And I really disliked the Sullivans. Still, there were players you could admire and identify with -- Grogan, Morgan, Nelson and (my own favourite) Don Hasselbeck. And later Raymond Berry was a genuinely decent man. Of course, after that came Zeke Mowat and so on. To be honest, I was pretty ashamed of the Pats then. I didn't jump ship, but I didn't exactly follow them closely. Still, I was living in the UK so the subject rarely came up. It was the Krafts and, particularly, BB who brought me back fully on board.

All of which is in contrast to the Jets. Year upon year of futility and moral degradation to the point that they wallow in it. Foot fetishists, stoners pleasuring themselves in car parks, dog fighters ... it's like Blazing Saddles.

A couple of days ago i heard someone frame it perfectly. The pats lost a first rnd pick and were find hundreds of thousands of dollars over a technicality. A few feet farther back and......
