Week 2 NFL game discussions

Kyle Fuller was Manx's binky - I believe Manx called him his favorite defensive player in the draft. Kid looks like another Tillman. Jimmy Ward, another binky of Manx's, also looks darn good.

Isn't Willie Young the A-hole who grabbed Brady's jersey and taunted him in a preseason game? F that guy.

I hope kap throws a INT right here

Nice. SF lets the game get away.

If only Denver had let the Chiefs tie it up, that would have made things effect.

6 of 8 next games on the road for chicago. Thats tough.

Congrats to Trestman and the Bears. Nice to see Harbaugh and Kaepernick get their lunch handed to them.

Deion sanders hilarious comments on Kap taking all the money and now sucking it up...

The Chicago Bears now have the most wins of all time in Santa Clara.

That Bears schedule is awful. It's the kind of schedule you'd get in Madden after your first season.

Jay Cutler, of all QBs, take this hit and then throws 4 TDs to beat the 49ers

I have no idea if Dial on SF would have been flagged for RTP if he led with his shoulder or just shoved Cutler. Hitting him like that, though, guaranteed a penalty. I can't say the penalty was a game-changing. It would have been 2nd & 15 from the SF 40 with 1:03 to go, so there was still plenty of time for the Bears to score anyway. After that penalty, the Bears outscored the 9ers 28-3.

Really disappointing to see the 49ers lose. But in all reality it has yet to be done for any team in the NFL to have a perfect 16-0 season. I hate to see the the team take a loss this early on, but it happens. Still got the rest of the season to go so I am not sweating it.

Anyways it time to be a good sport and give my congrats to the Bears.

Edited to add: Correction the Pats did it in 2007 with 16-0 season in the regular season. The other NFL teams that had perfect REGULAR NFL seasons was the 1934 Chicago bears with a 13-0 record,1942 Chicago bears 11-0, 1972 dolphins 14-0 in the regular season

The 1972 Miami Dolphins is the only team in NFL history that had a perfect regular season and then went on to a perfect play off record wining all three post season games including winning the Superbowl with a 17-0 record.

The NFL didn't expand to a 16 game regular season until 1978.

Crabtree haha, run your route
Yeah, Crabtree messed up on the route costing them a completion. However, mistakes were made by the whole team tonight.

Basically what it boils down to is this. ANY TEAM in the NFL is beatable, it is just that good teams are harder to beat. Thus, no matter how good a team may be; the entire team must bring their A game every time or they will collapse.

Also as far as your money well spent comment. You are talking crazy. Compare the big contracts of other franchise QBs in the league. How many have got big contracts as franchise QBs but have led team to very little. There are many, take Jay Cutler 18 mill per year despite missing the playoffs year after year. Colin helped take his team the NFC championship game 2 times and 1 time to the Super Bowl. I think his contract was fair for both sides and was money well spent.

I can't tell you how the 49ers, the Seahawks, the Pats or any team are going to do this season as we are only 2 games into the NFL season. I hope to see the Pats and 49ers in the Super Bowl.

The 49er's musta got green influenjetza...no known cure
The cure is to play better and cut down on mistakes or they will get beat like any other team in the NFL. Hopefully the 49ers will correct their mistakes. But I not sweating it as the 49ers lost early on last year. I think it was the 2nd and 3rd games to the Panther and seahawks, and then two more games were lost later in the season. Yet later made it to the AFC championship game. I mean it would be great to see the Pats and the 49ers in the superbowl.
