Week 2 NFL game discussions

I loves me some Phillip Rivers.
He earned my respect when he played the 2007 AFC Championship without an ACL (while Tomlinson was bundled up on the sideline). Also the game before when he got injured and still found the time to chirp Colt fans. :D

Indeed man. That took balls and he played about as well as he could too.

He's like a fan who became a player. You can imagine him being the drunk truck driver in the bar screaming at the TV.

Love him.

Didn't he play after he had surgery earlier that week?

He had the surgery afterwards from what I can remember.

And LaClassy sat on the bench with a sore toe.

****.

I'm really happy for Brian Hoyer keeping Johnny Bench off the field. Hopefully they keep winning so he can keep the job.

Im going to come out and say it. I've defended Peyton in the past and I think he's the most prolific regular season player of all time and a top 5 QB in NFL history. With that being said, he has the easiest job in the NFL right now. I'd go as far as to say that the Thomas' are the real MVP's of the team. Peyton throws more quick screens and jump balls on fades than anyone else. HIs receivers win at the LOS? TD. They don't win? Jump ball into tight coverage and they bring it down 70% of the time.

It has to make you jealous watching how easy it is for them to move the ball while we watch our HOF and top 2 QB all time still trying to figure things out for the 2nd season.

What's more annoying is a lot of Denver's best players were drafted by Josh

Holy shizzle, what a play by Rivers and Gates.

You're right. He had arthroscopic surgery on his knee six days before the game just so he could play and then had the ACL surgery when the Chargers got eliminated. What a beast.

Typical.

Chiefs 3rd and 8. Smith scrambles and connects on a big play and the flag comes out for offensive holding.

To be fair, it was holding. Just a shame they dare not call it the other way....

Aside from the penalties holding the Chiefs back, you can move the ball against the Broncos defense

That's a fantastic call, idiotic play by Jackson.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Malik Jackson you turd.

Uh no it couldnt. Pats played their 2nd straight away game and took care of business.

Saints didn't
Don't be an idiot. You know what I meant.

Speaking of Broncos lucking out.. I think I just saw Chancellor also leaving to the locker room

And you can shut down their offense if you don't play intimidated and jam their receivers at the line.

Ge-noooooooooooooo drops the ball, recovered by the D. Arm might have been coming forwards.

Geeeeeeno!!
What an idiotic play by Geno...
