Ridley needs to be an inch off the ground in short yardage situations. Runs too damn high.

Harrison Smith is a nice player.

He didn't make it. Good decision to punt.

What a terrible play call. Wow, I actually feel bad for Belichick with these 2 coordinators.

On short yardage i really prefer a quick hand off to Develin or a QB sneak from Brady. I don't have the stats in front of me but those seem to work the best.

Get our heads around this I think: 2001, not 2007. Lots of play action. Develop a defense you can trust. Not Tom Brady's Flying Circus.

Right call by Belichick, make them go the length of the field, don't let them back in it easily. If they can get a stop here they will have shot at a half ending drive and they get the ball to staryt the second half. They will have a shot at really burying the Vikings and i doubt Cassel can bring them back from a big deficit.

Announcers were off on the 3rd and 1 play. Aint about pad height on that one, that's how he breaks tackles, his momentum was stoned by breaking the end's tackle as he came through the LOS. Sometimes you just gotta accept that the other guys get paid too.

We could have drafted him in 2012 in the first and Lavonte David in the second. We would have had Smith and David instead of Hightower and Wilson.

So, I have a question. Smith led with his helmet to the Ridley's chest. Is that legal?
