There's no excuses this year. Especially right now when we have a healthy defense for the most part.

2 top tier players on the DLine (Wilfork, Jones). 2 top tier players in the secondary (McCourty,Revis). A top tier Linebacker(Mayo) and 2 other solid LBs.

If things don't improve on defense, Patricia has to go.

There's no excuses for the defense to look as bad as it has since halftime in Miami, regardless of the injuries we have. So I agree Patricia should be on a short leash.

But I think BB can't be excused either for the complete lack of a reasonable attempt to shore up our clear needs for DE and LB depth, or pass rush help in general. One injury at LB and you have a guy as lost and useless as Skinner out there. You might as well trot 10 guys out there. If the Vikings can exploit it like this, imagine what happens if any of Mayo/HIghtower/Collins gets hurt in January.

I'll have to see how the OL and DL work as a unit after they get a few more games under their belt......

The running game looks anemic so far.

Stopping the run should be a priorityfor Patricia.

Where are all the naysayers after that half??

2 int's, ST TD... it is all good right now, lets see how the 2nd half goes...

What are you going to do, not elect him as DC again??

Well this thread looks silly now.

Not really. The personnel is great.

There's still 14 games + playoffs left. Let's see if they can continue on as a Top 5 defense like they should

This thread should be about McDaniels

You are absolutely right. I and the whole NFL knew that Brady would be going long on 3rd and two. McD does not seem to have an appreciation for his trends in play calling that he creates. I think he really needs to learn how to mix it up so he's not so predictable. I firmly believe he needs to be able to learn from his mistakes or he will continually suffer from poor play calling.

The classic run the ball up the middle for a loss/no gain/2 yard gain to start the game, drives me f*cking insane.
