Going to my first Pats game with my dad. He's a diehard Vikings fan and is of course devastated about AP.

A friend of a friend is one of the stadium managers, and may be able to get us on the field. I'll be sure to pass along the boards feelings to Belichick and Brady if I get down there.

Glad you get to go! First pats game..should be a blast

So how 'bout that Mpls airport, huh? Nice stuff, amirite?

Sounds awesome. Have a good time. Pick up a box of kleenex at the duty free for pops.:)

Have they changed it at all in recent years? I remember it being pretty pedestrian...nothing special.

The terminal I laid over in had rows of seating with an iPad in every seat which you could use to order food, surf the web, whatever. Pretty cool.

This will also be my first Pats game tomorrow! I live in Iowa so it's not often the Pats are within driving distance. I'm hearing it's a bit more difficult getting to the University of Minnesota stadium than the old Metrodome was, so that'll be interesting.

Hopefully we'll both get to see a Pats win up in Minneapolis tomorrow. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your poor taste in beer :p

LOL, I was about to write "Nothing but the best in those Delta Sky Lounges, eh?" :D

.

I'm not meaning to sound like a **** here. It's an honest to goodness question. But how is your dad a Vikings fan while you're a Pats fan?

I jumped the bandwagon over a decade ago. I was 12 for their first Super Bowl, and was a michigan fan so I liked tom.

Hey Jangles & Joey 007, how about some updates (wherre you sat, how the fans were etc.)?

Don't mean to cut in or anything but I was at the game yesterday, too. And the Vikings fans were very respectable and friendly. Didn't run into any issues at all and quite a few came to congratulate me and my buddies on the win. Minneapolis is a great town.

Random side note: We met Ebner's cousin at our hotel and Bryan Stork's parents at the game. They were all really nice people. It was pretty awesome chatting with them about Ebner and Stork being on the team and the players' goals and whatnot.

Good to hear…I wonder too if the fans there enjoyed watching a Vikings home game outdoors (minus
the result) as much or more as I did. It's been a long time.
