#FireGoodell is trending on Twitter

The problem with Goodell is that he was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple. He has been gifted every position in his life due to his political connections rather than merit. He is an empty suit with no backbone but a big ego. His decisions have consistently been wrong creating mountains out of molehills like the Pats and Saints debacles and molehills out of mountains like the Rice case. If he only realized his position as front man he would do a lot less harm.

You're right. The reality is that everything bad would have happened anyway, too. Goodell is little more than a puppet dancing on strings.
Maybe the owners should hire this guy as their next puppet.

At least we'll know when he's lying.

In this case yes.

Took this whole situation for him to crack down on domestic violence against women and it's only because there was video.

Where's Greg Hardy's indefinite suspension? He was convicted of assaulting a female.

NFL: For 92% of the revenue of selling pink stuff we'll care about breast cancer. But domestic violence against women we really didn't care about that until the whole world saw a player dragging his wife from an elevator after he knocked her out.
This is just not right.
1) Why would the American Cancer Society refuse to accept 8% of the revenue of NFL gear? It is a charitable donation to help prevent cancer. That is a good thing by the league. 8% is a magnimous donation.
2) How does domestic violence relate to that?
3) Why would the American Cancer Society refuse to take money to help fight for a cure because of other social causes? Is the ACS supposed to vet every donor and make their determination of how they punish their employees for various infractions? Are they supposed to draw the line between due process and swift action? And are they supposed to be the judge of whether cancer needs a cure at the expense of sending a message about unrelated social issues?
You point of view is way, way out there.
