I was very disappointed when Wes Walker, my favorite player, wasn't resigned by the Pats. But I understood it was a business and money is the issue. I said at the time that I didn't think Amendola was a replacement for Walker for various reasons, mostly injuries, with Amendola.

I can honestly say that Amendola has demonstrated that he is a waste on the Patriots team.

There aren't any viable excuse for him, it's over, he was a bad signing.

Tell me I am wrong.

You are wrong. It's Wes "Welker".

Bill needs to hire a WR scout. He is absolutely horrible at evaluating talent at the WR position. Bill needs to stop looking for short, slow slot receivers, and go after a 6'4" fast talented physical wide wr.

the problem is when the pats sign a average player we think that because his with Brady and BB that player is going to be a star now and when that player does what he has does his whole career we get all mad about it, he is a WR that averages about 11 games played 50 rec for around 600 yards and he once had a career year of 85 rec for under 700 yards he is who he is

Brandon Lafell 6.3 210lbs has had a few highlight reel big TD in his career.
Aaron Dobson 6.3 200lbs ran a fast 40 time,
Kenbrell Thompkins 6.1 200lbs,

Edelman is the smallest WR on the team and he is by far the best of the bunch, we just need the pats to have a great year on offense so Josh McDaniels can get a HC job some were and stop giving the pats info on WR he thinks may fit the team lol

Danny Amendola

I would not call Edelman the smallest, he and Amendola are just about the same height and Edelman weighs more. In addition, Edelman can jump nearly a foot higher, is faster, stronger, and more agile – all these things make Edelman a much better deep threat than Amendola or Thompkins (who is actually just slightly over 6’0”) in my opinion.

Josh McDaniels drafted Demaryius Thomas. I would love for McDaniels to be able to give more input to BB on which Wide Revievers to draft.

Lafell is terrible. Highlight Reel catches? Lafell has no talent. He is a glorified blocking WR. There is a reason Carolina wanted no part of him.

Dobson: I am still waiting for him to breakout. When is it going to happen?

Thompson is average. He will never turn into a game changing WR. He's solid, but not spectacular.

Edelman is a great slot WR. He is not a number 1 WR.

I mean if you consider 6’3” 220lbs, running a 4.5 forty with a 36’ vertical no talent, yeah I guess LaFell fits. If you consider averaging 43 catches, 639 yards, and 4 touchdowns per season over the past 3 seasons despite not being targeted more than 88 times in any of them sucking, yeah I guess he once again fits.

Scary that are blocking WR has the most productive career of any receiver on the team in terms of yards and touchdowns.

Do you get annoyed waiting for the water to get hot?

So what you're saying is that you would have given up on Demaryius Thomas long before he was a good player in his third year.

"So what you're saying is that you would have given up on Demaryius Thomas long before he was a good player in his third year."

Demaryius showed flashes in his 2nd year. Did you see the way he abused Pittsburgh in that playoff game? Including scoring that 83 yard game winning TD in OT. It was easy to see the guy had the makings of a star. That was with Tebow, the worst QB in the NFL. Can you imagine if Demaryius had Brady his first two years?

its was the GM Brian Xanders that Drafted him Josh never had BB type power in Denver and Thomas was a First round pick the pats have never Drafted a WR in the First round. the point is you cant keep Drafting the 6th or 7th best WR in the Draft and think he will be anything more then a 4th or 5th WR on the roster if he can even make the team or be active on sunday

Alright. Then I expect you to not complain about Dobson until after the wildcard round this season.
