***Ray Rice---The Whole Video*** [Update: Ravens release Rice]

If some random NFL office worker saw the video and called the police back that the NFL received and even made a comment. You know damn well Goodell saw it or maybe his NFL Mafia Capo's saw it so he could have deniability.

What goes around comes around. If the POS lied he is done. People like Kraft and Jones don't like to be made to look ridiculous by a flunky like him. They can do it all by themselves by chasing bimbos.

There's simply no way that someone in the NFL saw that video three months ago and it didn't get to Roger Goodell. That claim is so implausible that it should be presumed false by anyone who the NFL thinks of dumb enough to even make it to. If Goodell can prove that that's true, then good for him, but nobody should even think of giving him the benefit of the doubt at this point.

As horrible as the whole Ray Rice situation is, this is a hell of a silver lining. After Spygate, I always hoped that Goodell would end up resigning in disgrace one day, but I never thought he would fail this publicly and spectacularly.

Dreaming of a new commish bringing back defense, kickoffs, and also making fun of fantasy football.

Thing is if there is a new one he will be even more of a lackey for the owners than Goodell has been

Because you think any of the owners would want that ? No matter what happens, we are on a course that is dictated by the owners not the commish.

Goodell is trying to turn the NFL into the Arena Football League.

Goodell needs to fall on the sword before there is a congressional investigation.

I did not have sex in that elevator, I mean I didn't see that video tape, errrrrrrr.

Goodell's head on a platter please!

Goodbye Roger and so long, we will never miss you.

I have to admit, after the worst opening season opener since 2003, this was the perfect week for all the focus on ESPN to -not- be related to anything that actually happened on the field.

Instead we get this fascinating possible end of Roger.

Congress should nail Goodell to the cross.
Congress should stay the **** out of it, that is unless they want to investigate the incompetence going on in New Jersey that allowed Rice to do what he did and not be punished.

But fact is Rice had his day in court (figuratively speaking, I know it never actually went to trial) and the charges were dropped. AFAIK, the NFL is under no legal obligation to punish him in the slightest so, much like Spygate, Congress has no right getting involved into the inner workings of a private business.

Agreed and that is what I said earlier. We are going to end up with puppet extraordinaire

He makes 44 million an yr. 44 million reasons to not step down.

Very true...I can't argue with that point.

Men (or women) of who lack principle (esp. principles they force others to adhere to, such as honor and integrity) are about as useful to me as tits on a bull.

Whether he is forced out or does the right thing and steps down matters not....this should (assuming the AP has this right) be the sunset of Rodgahhhhh's tenure.

Thanks a lot Bob Kraft. Now we have to hear from the morons:

"I want to thee what really happened on the thypgate tapeth"

Stuff it troll.

Stuff it troll.
Feel free to say something - anything - intelligent on the matter. Thus far, you have not demonstrated you are capable of such.

BTW, if I'm a troll, then what does it say about you since you keep responding? That you're a gutless wonder without the fortitude to ignore someone you claim is a troll?

Does that new AP report seem fishy to anyone else? Anonymous law enforcement official? And then the female voice recording? I may be wrong, but it sounds to me like the AP may have been trolled. It wouldn't be the first time the media has fallen for a prank call.

Not defending Goodell, just saying Anonymous is no joke. Sounds like something they would do.

Until there's further confirmation I remain skeptical.

You should speak to people here the way you would if it were in person.

Take your Jetdell love fest back to the NY Jets board. Goodell has made a mockery of the commissioner's office ever since Paul Tagliabue retired.
