Patriots drop 7 spots in the NFL Power Rankings

Yeah but once we kick the Vikings ass we will jump back up

The Colts shouldn't have have dropped 5 either. They could have and should have beat Denver in Denver and shutdown their offense in the second half without their best defensive player.

Sounds about right... the rankings should be based on the 2014 season, not the hype. In that sense, the Pats should probably be ranked around 25th. It's just week 1. Plenty of time to get it together.

The way the PATS looked Sunday I'm surprised they are at 12.
I mean look at next 8 games. There is only 1 game I could say
there is a high probability PATS will win. If PATS don't improve
big time I can easily see them at 4-5 by the Bye. That should
drop them into the lower half of the power poll.

One thing I don't get

The Dolphins controlled the line of scrimmage all darn day

They controlled it for half the game.

A little extra fuel for the fire. It's been a while since the Patriots have had an "us against them" motivator like this.

Trust what you've seen, ladies and gentlemen. This is a very good and very deep football team with no injuries. I'm as puzzled as you are about what happened in the 2nd half in Miami. That will be a hungry team getting off the plane in St. Paul on Sunday.

They ran well in both half’s and we ran poorly (with the exception of end arounds) in both half’s. I can understand why they said both half’s.

Bulletin Board Material... where is Rodney when you need him???

I wonder how many spots the Pats will climb when they take the lead in the AFCE by week 5.

Lol at dolphins being that high. But i guess you can only base it off of one week. Win next 2 and they are 4-5

What happened? PATS Dline and Oline got pushed around like your little red wagon.
They might be hungry next week but if something doesn't change all they'll get is scraps.
Miami ran the ball down their throat and all the adjustments and coaching they could get
from the sideline did not help one bit. What makes you think Vikes won't run it down their
throat? All Vikes have to do is look at how Miami blocked our front 7 and do the same thing
and they have a much more powerful running back to plow though any secondary help PATS
might add to the mix. Why in the world did BB let Kelly go?????

Really wish the leaders would take this and use it to their advantage like the dynasty years.

I can't believe that both Patriot lines will suck that bad 2 weeks in a row,,,,and that the LB's won't be where they are supposed to be........also, controlling the edge was lacking last week......

BB summed it up......lots to work on.....

YEAH! Week one tells the story! They had two whole days or something w/that O-line going into the game!

People, wait a week. And OMG, even wait two, if that's what it takes. I feel like a broken record, but you guys sound like one. It's the worst o-line in the world. It's 100% certain that Brady has fallen off a cliff. We have no receivers. Revis isn't any good anymore. You know, because the Miami game.

Everybody here's watched a whole season before, right?

My favorite aspect of the Power Rankings is their ability to run out on Sunday and play game of football.
