Between Mankins and Kelly, the Krafts probably saved a couple of hundred grand in extra pocket money this week, though, while hammering home the point that players should just shut up and take what they're offered, if they want to stay in New England, and that's what matters.

If the FO is going to play hardball with someone, then at least have someone else in the building
who is cheaper, younger and - not unimportantly - worthy of replacing him.
