***Ray Rice---The Whole Video*** [Update: Ravens release Rice]

bravo baltimore.

ray rice is a coward.

Even beyond being a total piece of *****, he's now in his late 20's and averaged 3.1 YPC last season.

Who the **** would take so much bad PR in exchange for that?

I wonder if they were pressured by NFL higher ups.

Likely but all of this mess was the Higher Ups own fault to begin with. I don't believe any of that BS about them never having seen this video when every reporter back then was saying they had. Cutting Rice was to save Goodell's own ass.

Good job by Baltimore, they had to do it though.

Called this one, it would not take longer

I believe he's gonna get a contract...with the UFC

Not sure if serious?

My responses would get this moved to the political forum. Frankly, I should have just put this thread on ignore, like the other Ray Rice threads. This isn't really a football topic, because people can't keep it there. I'll delete my post.

Sorry Ravens and Herr Goodell, but you STILL look bad for not making this happen immediately after the incident occurred. Suddenly it's "real" because now there's a video showing what you/everyone else already knew? When the police report came out he should've been suspended indefinitely by both the league and the Ravens pending further investigation, then released. We can only hope it's proven that Goodell saw the whole video before handing down the two-game suspension and he joins Rice at curbside.

Baltimore is going to be praised for this as if they didn't see the video before this morning. They literally did the only thing they could do to prevent a crapstorm of controversy

I don't really care about the NFL's "justice", it's a freakin game. If this guy's poison due to publicity, then good enough.

What i do have a problem with, and i wonder if people know this, is that Rice was put in a program where he isn't even going to be prosecuted for this, just given some anger management and other baloney and no trial, no record of anything, as long as he complies.

That's straight up BS and athlete worshiping favoritism.

Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice was accepted into a pretrial intervention program Tuesday to avoid aggravated assault charges

Did the Ravens give Rice his walking paper under the Ray Lewis statue to strongly emphasize their commitment to non violence/obeying the law?

I mean, even if you ignore the whole "violently assaulted his fiancee" thing, he was really, really bad at football last year and wasn't particularly efficient in 2012, either.

I suspect we wouldn't agree on this, but to spare you the dogpile I'll delete my response to your post ;)

Meanwhile in Dallas... Stephen Jones: "Don't even think about it, Dad!!!"

But seriously.... Glad he's gone. F*** him.

Not "wow.." but "good!"

Hopefully he never plays another down in the NFL. To knock out a woman incapable of defending herself goes against the essence of what it means to be a man.
