Any social media experts around who can jump start another "ALS type" team video challenge of some sort to accomplish the goal? I'm a doctor and not a marketing guy but I would maybe start with a hypocrite theme, and go from there. #NFLhypocrites

Honestly, and this is my opinion, I don't think the NFL can go back on their punishment. They made their decision already, now they have to deal with it. ....

With that, now I think the pressure should be on the Baltimore Ravens to do the right thing and suspend Rice. Add another 8-10 games to the NFL punishment. We knew the NFL dropped the ball a month ago, but the Ravens have gotten by defending Rice with no circumstances. The pressure should be on them, not the league to do the right thing.

Give credit to BB and Kraft. Minutes after AH got arrested they released him....

Baltimore can't stand around and do nothing.

I bet there already is a mini-bountygate being planned among other teams if Rice steps on the field.

I think it's best for him if the Ravens suspend him now.

This, as expected, is starting to explode. Hopefully it marks the begging of the end for both Rice and Goodell!

they just showed most of the video on ESPNnews. I love how the Baltimore fans are saying its doctored, yeah I'm pretty sure someone from the grassy knoll came into the elevator and knocked Mrs. Rice unconscious and that it was edited out of the video!

You have to hand it to whoever at TMZ decided that today would be the best day to release the video. You have all the sports programs, ESPN is set up for a full night of football, I wouldn't want to play a drinking game tonight that called for you to do a shot everytime they say "TMZ".

That was my thinking. Regardless of what the NFL does, the Ravens should suspend (indefinitely) Rice. I mean crap, a player gets 4 games for drinking alcohol but only 2 games for knocking out and almost killing a women?

This has potential to get out of control, if NFL do not step up and "change the call after reviewing the play" someone will break Rice's neck in the field. He didn't play yet right, so they gotta do something this week, after steping on the field there's nothing more they would be able to do.

Apparently a lot of people on the Ravens forum want him cut or traded. Some are claiming there are Twitter rumors that he may indeed be getting released.

I really don't expect any further suspension/action being done. Goodell is a joke and will just repeat his "I got it wrong" line, and the Ravens...well...everyone knows how they operate.

It's a shame we can't hear what is being said. There's a lot of context missing. In the lobby Rice's head moves forwards towards her and she slaps him. Apparently it's serious enough that another woman clearly turns her head looking at them(unless she looks because it's Ray Rice). And then the same thing in the elevator except this time Rice strikes back and moves away and then she goes after him and Rice clocks him.

Maybe Rice was pissed off when she swung her arm at him again but you're the one who tried getting in her face twice, jackass! And then you clock her when she fights back after you hit her. You could have just kept her away from you. You have longer arms! You're stronger! But no let's just clock her because you're angry with her.

Clearly Rice has some anger management issues. I think it's good Rice is getting help for himself and hopefully they get some marriage counseling. I believe that people can change and become better people.

However, 2 game suspension? WTF! I agree with a previous poster that the league can't change the ruling, what's done is done. Like others have said, how did nobody get this video footage? How does Rice not go to jail for this? The Ravens organization better do the right thing and suspend him for an entire year. I hope every fan(including Ravens fans) boo's him everytime he touches the ball if the Ravens organization doesn't suspend or release him. What a scumbag!
