Considering that Ravens fans gave this scumbag a standing ovation in training camp, I wonder if they will play this video on the jumbotron every time Rice scores a TD.

Apparently, John Harbaugh doesn't have his brother Jim's supposed zero tolerance for domestic violence.

First he spits in her face then drops her with a sucker punch and for that Rice got TWO games.

I'm at work so I can't watch it. But from your description alone, I can tell that it was disgusting. Shame on the NFL for giving that guy a 2 game suspension.

The article states that, per a hotel employee, the NFL saw this footage. This in interesting because Florio wrote an article where he could not get confirmation the league ever saw the footage from inside the elevator.

I'm not sure what's worse, that the league didn't make an effort to view this footage or that they did and still came up with a 2 game suspension.

Well, the good news is he didn't have trace amounts of THC in his bloodstream or else he would have gotten in real trouble.

They should have released him. I would lose all respect I have for Kraft if one of our players did this, and was allowed to stay on the team.

I didn't really hate the Ravens before this incident. Not in any more way than just regular rival hate. But how they handled this whole thing made me disgusted. The press conference, the tweeting about how she, yes SHE, regrets the role she played that night. The Ravens treat this like Rice got caught for speeding or something. Then how their fans cheer him as a hero during training camp. I have absolutely no respect for the Ravens organization any more.

Don't know if the Ravens saw this video before all that. I hope not. Even more disgusting if they did and still treated him like that.

Meh, to be fair the hotel employee probably saw some NFL security rube looking at the footage. We can't know what the actual decision makers saw.

The thing is they either didn't watch the whole thing or the folks in charge of doling out punishments didn't see the whole thing making them merely incompetent. OR they watched the whole thing and decided to hand out a tiny punishment under the assumption this footage wouldn't get out making them both vile and incompetent.

Looks like he hit her first even, and her hitting him was retaliation, if nothing else.

Suck it, Goodell. If not for the outrage over the suspension length, he'd still have us believe that popping Adderall without a prescription is twice as bad as knocking a woman out.

Hope his statue is almost done because he certainly deserves as much recognition as The Other Ray.

The NFL already acknowledged they dropped the ball on this, but the Ravens should take more flack for having this guy on their roster. And the fans in Baltimore should be taking even more flack for rooting for him.
