This is not a joke.

1. Ridely not only didn't fumble, but he caught a pass for a nice gain. This was a game where a Ridely fumble would have been almost unsurmountable and would have haunted Ridley going forward. I saw good ball security because you know the Phins were after him.

2. Collins looked pretty good in pass coverage.
3. Chung played good IMO. Hit some people.
4. Moreno is a punk. Who cracked him in the shoulder? He went out for a while and wasn't smiling anymore.
5. I cant wait until the Phins come to Foxboro. Its on a NY Jet level.
6. NE WRs/TEs were open but over or under thrown.
7. Only 3 more games until Browner can play. I hope he brings an attitude that this Pats Defense will not be intimidated or pushed around.
8. Vince looks like hes down to 400 pounds.

Maybe it made BB and McDaniels realize that going forward they should trot out a reciever corp of Gronk, Dobson, Wright, and Edelman.

Also maybe they realized that instead of running out Hoomanuawi to block they should just send out an extra OLineman. At least they have the ability block.

I like the way the defense teamed up on creating turnovers. Collins makes the hit and Mayo recovers. Ryan hits and Revis recovers. I forget the other one but it looked good to me. I think Edelman won me over the last two seasons. He has worked hard to turn into a pretty good receiver. I like seeing Thompsn out there. I liked him from last years camp. Hoping to see Tyms too. Glad to see Butler get some plays.

Id rather the Pats be playing bad football now and not in December.

agree...get it out of the way now.

And there's no where to go but up..it will get better..much better

I like the way the defense hit early on in the game. Afterwards, they stunk.

I really like Wright and hope like heck he picks up the offense soon and Josh figures out a way to get him into games.

I thought it was nice to see Wright catch some passes. Hopefully he continues to progress and becomes a dependable option for Brady.

Revis played pretty well. He had 2 pass deflections and a fumble recovery IIRC. Wallace did beat him once, and had a TD against him, although it was pretty lucky considering Revis batted it down, and it hit Wallace's thigh and went back into his hands.

Injuries would've made this game 100x worse to stomach. Luckily there was none.

Exactly. Pretty sure the Broncos wished they could've had their bad game in week 1 last year instead of the SuperBowl.

my positives no injuries and most of the problems are bad coaching lets hope they fix that

Hooman would be a really great game day inactive in my opinion.

No injuries and a reminder that we're the 8th youngest (3rd excluding Brady) team in the league are about the only positives in my mind.

I'm really not shocked they lost

While I'd prefer to see the OL play better, the Patriots run some complex D and O - and they are NEVER in mid season form in September. It takes them much longer to hit their stride than other teams - but when they do, watch out.

A division loss is NEVER a good thing, but Patsfans should expect that the team will look rusty in September given the complex plays utilized by Belichick - especially in an era where offseason practices are limited.

Your normal negativity would be a lot easier to take if you actually balanced it out on a regular basis with positive posts like this one.

1 isn't a positive. It's a non-negative.
2 & 3 are definitely positives.
4 & 5 are opinions.
6 is a big negative. Brady looks like crap.
7 is a wish.
8 is no surprise.

One of the positives for me was the running game.

Revis did not play "pretty well." We were discussing it in another thread. Obviously, we all expect that to change moving forward.

You and everyone else in that thread that thinks Revis didn't play "pretty well" are clinically insane. Speed demons like Mike Wallace are the cryptonite to "shutdown" corners. In 60 snaps, a fast WR like Wallace will burn any CB in the league at least once or twice. Wallace made most of his plays against CBs not named Revis anyway.
