Not sure if the Colts can't cover to save their lives or Broncos that good

A little bit of both. The Colts are giving their receivers too much respect. They are almost playing a prevent defense conceding the 20 yard play as long as it isn't 50 yards.

Well yeah, but I think we all expected them to have a better offense. We didn't - at least I didn't - expect them to also be better defensively.
if they keep playing that 3-4 defense there are 31 teams that have a better defense not just denver

Denver fans outta be happy the way this is starting out.

Any chance we can get the Broncos player personnel guy next year?

I would be happy to get the former Patriots OL coach back next year.

Edelman looked to be limping after that one. Edelman might not have been able to get where he was supposed to be.

Where he /was/ was wide open.

They have him. A lot of the Broncos' best players were drafted by McDaniels.

Andrew Luck is elite, no need to worry yet.

When is the media ballwashing of Luck going to stop, take a breath and realize that this guy hasn't really done very much. The Pats have handed his lunch the past two seasons.

Doesn't matter if he is wide open or not if Brady is supposed to throw the ball to a spot 30 yards down the field and he can only get to the 25 yard spot.

After one week. It is a long season and the Pats historically get better on defense as the year goes along (assuming they don't lose half of it to injury).

That tends to be true of the offense too.

As I've pointed out before, over the first 8 games of the season, since 2001 the Pats are just one game ahead of IND for best record. Over the second half, they are 17 wins ahead of the next best team.

OK, then let's go after the Broncos coaching staff then ..........

Jack Del Rio sucks as a DC he doesn't change his scheme every season like Patricia.

Man, Broncos look really good. Pats, not so much. They're definitely better right now but it could change.

Nowhere close to going out of bounds. Good job refs.

Probably not nearly enough but nice drive from the Colts

The refs with a great stop to block an obvious TD. And Jets fans complain the refs are in the Pats' back pocket.

Saw a tweet stating that Brady set some sort of record for incompletions longer than 15 yards today. That was a terrible pass at a crucial point in the game. Reminded me of the overthrow to Edleman in the championship game.

Most incompletions 15 yards down the field since 2006.

To be fair, he threw a bunch of meaningless ones towards the end. And at other times, he was throwing deep to 5'11 slot WRs and a 5'10 running back. Some of the incompletions were pretty inexcusable misses, though.

important TD, I hope to see a better game in the second half
