The New England Patriots defense was run over. Simply inexcusable.

The inability to tackle, stop the run, rush the passer, and prevent the opposition's top weapon from becoming a threat all at the same time were indeed, inexcusable. I also have full confidence that they'll improve on all of these aspects, just the same.

The defensive line was getting blown off the LOS. Wilfork was among the ones who were getting blown off the ball the worst, sadly.

Were you honestly impressed with what you saw on the defensive side of the ball today? Even Revis looked like garbage.
I wouldnt say he was garbage. Saved a sure TD tha he batted down. Everyone looked sluggish.

Collins did the best out of everyone IMo even with some bad plays

It may be that bringing him back with all the health uncertainty was one of quite a few roster makes made by Belichick.

You can add coordinators to that list.
Two on Jones were a crock of ****. Apparently, you aren't allowed to hit th3 quarterback anymore.

I am actually shocked that nobody opened a “Start Garopollo” thread today…:D

He would have won the game today no doubt.. He can at least move around in the pocket

The RTP were a joke, especially when they're thrown that late.

I was joking. He could not win the preseason game against the third string Giants.

The contract is fine. If he doesn't perform, he doesn't get paid. Sadly, Wilfork looked like a 300+ pounder coming off an Achilles injury today, which is what some of us were expecting.

The one on Hightower was the worst, I have absolutely no idea what he's supposed to do there. He didnt grab Tannehill and slam him down, he just hit him a quarter second after he threw the ball. Total crap.

Later in the Dallas/SF game one of the SF players basically threw a flying forearm into Romo's head and it didn't get called or mentioned by the announces. This league has a serious officiating problem.

All the other AFC East teams won this week.

No but someone did start a lets blame Amendola thread.

I know that bastard must die. Prepare the troops we will bring the weight of Amendolian nation down on him.

Serious note, Amendola did not do much but he was not to blame, you have to have a QB standing up able to throw a football to make a catch as a WR.

Wow one miracle in 8 years.

Huh? Last year:
Vs. Miami, the Pats were down 17-3 at the half and won 27-17.
They were down 24-21 against Denver at the half and won 34-31.
Against Cleveland, they were down 6-0 at the half and won 27-26
Against Houston, they were down 17-7 at the half and won 34-31

To say the Pats suck at halftime adjustments is just a fallacy.

You're probably counting the Edelman end arounds as rushing attempts. I would not.

On runs by actual running backs, we had 17 carries for 65 yards for an avg of 3.8

What does YAC mean?

YPC it should have been.

The end around reminded me of the Seahawks in the super bowl.

That's still not awful and no reason to go pass happy.

The Miami pass rush looked like what the Pats were supposed to look like.
