Logan Mankins Injured

Logan Mankins just went down.

Apparently it doesn't look good. Such a great player, hope it isn't serious.

He walked to the locker room.

I really hate to here that. Hope it's not too bad!

It's been a crappy day. Hope Mankins is alright.

So did Brady after he tore his ACL.

God that sucks. Poor Logan. He is too much of a beast to be injured.

And if that doesn't work, just take some Robitussin.

I want the Pats to "win" the trade of Mankins for Wright and the fourth rounder, but because Wright turns into a stud and the fourth round pick is great. I don't want to see Mankins hurt. Hope he is ok.

Trading him was very bad. The team out there today did not have any soul, no heart.
What does it really mean to be a patriot? Who is a patriot? Sometimes you need the players to play at a level that transcends their physical short comings and that motivations comes in all sorts of ways, but BB took all that away with the trading of Mankins. This can end up like 2009. He may very well lose the team again.

Watched Mankins a few plays. Did a great job blocking, several times diving his guy back almost 5 yards. Impressive.
Very sorry he's hurt. Hate to see it happen to a good guy who plays hard.

It was a non-contact injury. Knee injuries that are non-contact tend to be ligament damage. Hope this is the exception and not the rule.

This is Mankins, he'll be back next week even if he has to get it amputated.

I hope he will be back, but the only reason he played on a torn ACL was because he didn't know it was torn. If he has ligament damage of any sort, I doubt he will be playing.

Reports are that he just hyperextended his knee and should be fine

I hope this is right and he recovers.
he couldhave been in a Patriots uniform yesterday and the results of the game would have ben much the same.
