listening to patriots.com..."how do you fix fhe offensive line??"...throw some gd screens man, get the ball OUT OF BRADY's hands and fast...the screen used to be this teams bread and butter...the o-line is suspect, back them off a bit...Vareen is great out in space...

Wow, are you guys watching the cowboys? The 49ers just scored in Dallas and the crowd roared! The place is at least half nines fans!

Oh, in case you didn't know already, Tony Romo sucks!

I'm not usually an OC basher because I hate being Captain Hindsight but why do we always run or screen on 3rd & long? Throw it and at least hope for an illegal contact.

At least the pats d accomplished one thing today, Cam Newton is inactive, Derek Anderson with the start. Derek Anderson versus Josh McCown!, oh the humanity!,,,,

I suppose that that clash of titans does help me feel slightly less saddened about how poorly the Pats played today. Hopefully Derek Anderson puts his heart and soul into the game and ends up sharing a good laugh on the sidelines with his teammates.

Both halves reinforced what everyone should know about Brady. He's the best in the business if you block for him. But if the line goes full ******, he's not going to win in spite of them. Few QBs can, and we shouldn't expect him to be one of those guys. He wasn't ten years ago, so he definitely isn't now.

Keep up the good fight. There's too much stupid in here for my taste right now, so I'm out. I'll post a reaction thread later, when the trolls are gone, the Chicken Littles have realized that the season isn't over, and the homers are a little less knee-jerk.

Brady throws ducks. And by the way, I'm always here after jet losses. Check the history
You've been here a lot, in that case. Oh, and don't plan on going anywhere else for a long time. I've checked thee Jests' history and, unfortunately, it's your future, as well. Enjoy...

I just hope they catch whoever spiked the Pats Gatorade jugs with valium during halftime. That was a completely different team for the second half. They went from the Pats of old to the NE 3-And-Outs. I can't even muster the words to describe the porous run D.

It was a stinker, but let's hope they decided game 1 of the season was the best time to lay an egg, and they get it together for the remainder of the season.

Not when your line doesn't give him the proper time and he is missing one of his receivers in Dobson.

Yeah, Dobson would have made a difference today. As a guy that lives in the Midwest, the Brady story is playing out very similar to Favre. I know the OL was garbage - no doubt about it, but to ignore the degradation of Brady's skills is willful ignorance.

When filtering out some of the Chicken Littles, this thread becomes a lot more bearable. But then again, they seem to create accounts faster than I can process so.....

Didn't see the game, but I'm not shocked at all by this. Up 17-7 and 20-10 at the half, and I didn't have a good feeling at all. I'm not a chicken little or sky is falling type of guy, but this team is not a championship type of team. We have not had a good defense since the 2004 championship team. That is all Belichick's fault. The so called defensive genius has reigned over **** defenses for 10 years. I don't care if you have Revis and Mike Haynes and Deion Sanders back there, if you can't get to the QB. This line couldn't stop ME from getting 50 yards rushing and I'm 51 with bad knees.

Revis had leg cramps in 4th. Why was out last 2 drives

Question is, why the **** isn't Dobson in there ? Why the **** is he playing the last exhibition game if he can't play in the games that count ? Terrible coaching by BB. Where is the defensive genius ? Where is the ****ing pass rush ?

LOL don't ban anybody, but for christ's sake, just pass out some paper bags for this panicky little britches to breathe into.

Heyyyy, maybe you're right! Maybe you got to be first! Maybe this is the worst team evah, and Brady missed every throw and will miss every throw for the rest of the season!

I actually don't think so, but there sure ain't evidence of much more than a single stinker game (whether you attribute to QB or OL in disarray or my favorite, "This team hates its coach.")

Seriously. Deep breath people.

Wastin' my time.

Yeah that 6 yard bomb was a BB.

Who are you, anyway? That pass went just under 20 yards and it was a rocket. There's nothing wrong with Brady's arm strength.

He couldn't step into any throws today with half the Miami line in his face.

He's never been a good deep ball thrower. Not. Ever.

I think he lost his defensive genius status sometime around the year that Mark Sanchez kicked his defenses' butt in the playoffs with a 127 QB rating.

Where was the amazing pass rush that people said was coming with our new amazing secondary?

I think there's some definite cause for concern (mostly the O-line, run D and the pass rush), but the Pats have played worse openers than this one before (a certain blowout loss against the Bills comes to mind).

Yup, obvious responses. Let's talk about football. That arm is weak. Period. Good thing a QB was drafted. Defenses will be ready.

Ban me. Whatever. This place had a reputation of not allowing opposing views

The trouble is, he was missing wide open receivers when he had plenty of time.

After how many pressures, sacks, and knockdowns? Any QB's mechanics and reads will tend to be rushed and break down under that kind of pressure.
