The agitated Post-Game thread

Yeah, can't say I was impressed with him today! Only time I saw him, he was being a hinderence!

If Wendell is starting next week, Im going to break something valuable. Picking up right where he left off in Denver. The line as a whole seems like its going to be one of those things that isn't settled until November. Tom has no chance to step into his throws and with a QB like himself at his age its a recipe for disaster.

One can only wonder, is this even a better team than the one we had last year? This is the worst opening game i have ever seen.oh.... Tom you need to shave.

I think I underestimated MIami's DL going into this game. Even still, we're going to have to hold up against DLs as good and better than Miami's if we want to hoist the Lombardi.

Well...there was the 31-0 game...that season turned out ok .

i guess you haven't been watching the team very long you pathetic whiner, (this goes for all the pathetic whiners too, especially the new ones) about ten years ago the bills beat them 30-0. they came back to win the sb that year. this sht happens from time to time.

One thing I'd like to throw out there:

Maybe the STs would have gone better if Belichick hadn't sent two major ST contributors to the waiver wire? (Yes, they came back, but it's the same "no-continuity" problem.)

For me the defensive formation was the biggest problem for us. It really doesn't fit our top players. Putting Easley on the egde, putting Chandler Jones in the middle where he gets double teamed. Huge holes to run in. I just don't see why we would use this scheme with our current personel, and that's what I've said since we first saw it. It just eliminates our best players and put them in far less than ideal positions.

We have some really awesome defensive players. But these scheme really doesn't use them in the right way. It uses them to do what their worst at.

What do you guys think about the scheme?
I dont get that crap either, they tried that with Chandler
Last year and it didn't work, they tried it today it didn't work and they kept doing it?

Bill B. did not upgrade their OL, and with Dante gone, this OL will get Brady killed.

Dolphins game shows how weak they are. Pass and Running support.

The poor O-line will get Brady injured, if it hasn't already, and then Grop will be called into action, and then people will be praising BB for having the foresight to draft Grop when he could have drafted an O-lineman who may have prevented Brady from being injured in the first place.

Basically, Reiss had it spot on. Edelman (as always) and Collins were great and everyone else stunk. Even Revis on that almost touchdown pass to Wallace (with one foot out) was awful. Haven't seen that bad of coverage since Darius Butler and Sergio Brown roamed the halls at Foxboro.

We can't tackle either which bodes well for us going against Peterson and Patterson this upcoming week. Cant wait for the inevitable shootout! :D

Except for the plays Collins stunk on.

56 passes is absolutely ridiculous, especially in the Miami heat, no wonder the lines were toast.

If they had a hard time with stopping the run today, it will be interesting with AD next week

Revis didn't stink. Wallace beat him once - on a play where Tannehill had 5 seconds to throw. Wallace will beat pretty much anyone once or twice a game.

The touchdown was a well-defended fluke. Wallace's other catches had a linebacker (??????????????) covering him.

they were not a good road team last year and they still are not, its the same defense from last year cant stop the run or get a pass rush going and as much as no one wants to say it Aqib Talib played about as good as any CB in the NFL did last year so just adding Revis to the same defense is not going to make them top 5. the one guy that could be a upgrade from last years defense wont play until week five,

the OL was a ? before the mankins trade and now its a problem if Brady keeps getting hit every game like that he may just call it a career at the end of the season, the good thing is its week one and this team has some talent so with good coaching they can fix it but the defense is going to have to get better there is no reason to spend that much on DB's if your still going to play that BS bend but don't brake defense

It's OK if you're making a high percentage of them, but when you're only completing them 1/2 the time, that's a couple dozen times the clock stops, increasing the likelihood of putting the D back on the field.

Mankins sucked too last year, had he played great last year I could see a need for that type of thread, but he was one of the reasons the line sucked last year.
