No local guys, and no ex-Patriots, because it's a given that they're all Patriot homers.

Nation wide, who are the biggest friends and enemies of the Patriots in the media?

This is what I have for friends.

Chris Collinsworth:
Collinsworth does a good job of maintaining objectivity and showering praise all around, but you can tell he has a high opinion of the Patriots and thinks Tom Brady is the frigging man. He was marking out hard for Tom during the near comeback against San Fran, when Brady was just a man possessed. Then when we came back in the second half to give Denver yet another humiliating beat down, you could tell Collinsworth was basically expecting it. He even said, "I didn't want to say anything, but deep down you just knew."

If it was 24-0 Pats, Colinsworth, without that level of faith in Manning, would of known it was just a wrap.

Collinsworth = Patriot friend.

Skip Bayless:
Skip gets all sorts of hell from people who claim he's a troll, but I find his football positions usually dead on, and unlike a lot of other TV personalities, Skip is dead on while going out on leaps, not playing it safe.

Skip is a huge Patriot mark on an otherwise hostile network (ESPN), always picked them to make the Superbowl when others write them off, and always defends Brady being the best QB in the league.

He's even turned Steven A Smith into a Patriot and Brady appreciator when early on in the shows existence, Smith hated the Patriots and was in the Rob Parker (enemy) camp.

Bayless = Patriot Friend

Terry Bradshaw:
Dude is a huge freaking Brady mark. He absolutely loves him. Whenever he's talking about Brady you can tell the dude just wants to hang out with him lol. Hopefully one day they can take the four finger photo with Montana.

Bradshaw = Patriot Friend

Tony Dungy:
Bitter, jealous, delusional. Ex-Colt and Belichick owned him and now his petty revenge is to overly praise his former hapless QB and pick the Patriots to lose games they're going to win

Dungy = Patriot Enemy

Who do you got?

Keyshawn Johnson and I think Boomer Essiason are Patriots friends.

Marshall Faulk and Kurt Warner are enemies

Boomer, I forgot about Boomer. For sure!
Simms too

You're all talking individuals and that's fine.

The New England Patriots really have only one CORPORATE enemy.

The Boston Globe.

All the CBS, NBC and Fox guys are good with the Patriots and think they're the class of the NFL.
Anyone ever notice that? All the pregame shows, etc.

On the cable networks, like ESPN and to a lesser extent (because of Patriot employees) the NFL network, trash on the Pats by way over hyping teams the Pats are better than.

wrong Shmess...FESPN employs this total rat ba$tard slug of a slimy dirtbag cretin....

The scared coward who will never set foot in New England announced, Greg Bunnybrook...total scum

ESPN's own ombudsperson took him apart completely. She absolutely and publicly tore him a new one.

ESPN is just an attention whore. It simply wants clicks.

The Globe is on a completely different level. It never does that with any of their hitmen (unlike they.....ummmmm.....get outed for plagiarism).

They are all friends as long as New England is winning.

Garner a couple losses, then they are like sharks who smell blood in the water. Each of those rat bassids will be vying to see who gets to tear off the biggest hunk of meat from the Patriot's carcass.

Never let any reporter get within weapon's range of you. Always employ a food taster. Never trust a word they say.

Scumball Mike Florio is a Patriots enemy. Here's a recent photo of him in case you don't know who I'm talking about.

I generally agree with your post. Especially the one on Skip Bayless, he's awesome.

Edited to add there might be some people in life, in the media etc that I am not fond of. However, I would not consider them an enemy since I believe in loving each other as myself.

No local guys

Tune into 98.5 between 2-6 if you didn't know any better most of the time you'd think you were listening to an Anti-Patriot radio show.

Chris Collinsworth despises the Patriots. Boomer Esiason despises Belichick. Bayless offers opinions which are fed to him by his network in order to create a conversational scenario each day.

The only guy from ESPN that I would consider pro-Patriots is Cowherd.

John Gruden loves the Pats.

It embarrassing sometimes the way he goes on with his Man Love.

Bob Costas HATES the Pats.

That's OK. I hate Bob Costas.

Seriously, I don't know how you guys can watch any of these talking heads. Maybe it's old age, but I hit the skip button on the DVR when any of the TV talking heads start up. I can't even watch 5 minutes of ESPN, it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. If I never hear Chris Berman scream FOOOTBAWWWWW! one more time it will be too soon.

I fast forward through all commericials, sporting event music video/profound essay introductions, bottle blond chick country singer songs about football, video montage tributes to Peyton Manning, TV talking heads, extra point conversions, and kick offs.

I would say Jimmy Johnson is a Patriot friend...at least a BB friend. of course Faulk and Hodge are enemies off the top of my head. they both suck anyway so it does not matter
