Would You Trade For Josh Gordon?

If it was a good deal absolutely, the kid smokes weed, who cares, he also leads the league in receiving yards in 14 games.

Depends on the price. On principle I think it is wise not to try to OVER invest in WRs. It is nice to have but other positions are more important. If we could get him cheap though (3rd or less) I don't see why not.

He is borderline uncoverable and one of the top 3 Offensive weapons in the game IMO. However if you are talking about a lot of value to get him I am not so interested. He brings a lot of baggage with him and if I were to invest in a position I'd choose safety or a front 7 spot.

He would make us the Goat offense

He has also shown, repeatedly, that smooking weed and driving drunk is more important for him than playing football.
The kid just turned 23 years old last month; did you make the best decisions when you were 23? People think because you give a kid a few bucks and he plays a sport for a living he is not going to do what most kids his age do.

Attention all Football, Baseball and Basketball Players (or Hollywood Actors)
For 1,000 dollars a week, I will make myself available at any time of the day or night to chauffer your rich, clubbin' ass around.

I will be the perfect blind/deaf/no questions asked kind of man-servant. An Alfred to your pot smoking, molly-popping, drunk driving Batman.

Hire yourself a chauffeur and save yourself potentially millions in fines, lost wages and lost endorsement ads. On the plus side, you won't spend any time in jail. And while I might not be a Ray Donovan, I can figure out how to clean spent casings from whatever car I'm driving.

PM me for references. :)

How about the announcement that Gordon and Welker could have their suspensions waived assuming the nfl/nflpa come to terms on a new substance abuse policy before Sunday...

While we're talking about the browns...the Hell with manziel and his stupid snickers ad. I like snickers, I won't buy another as long as I see Mr. Money and his coke blowing nose on my television advertising their products. On that note, I'm sure "Johnny Football" would be ecstatic to land a job as a workout instructor in a few injury and failure plagued years.

I'm 21 right now, turning 22 in a few weeks. So I know how it is to be at that age. But that doesn't mean that I drive drunk, I think that's an idiotic act at any age and just shouldn't be done. But it's especially idiotic when your employer is already talking about suspending you for a year because you can't stop smoking weed.

Being 23 years old is no excuse for being stupid. Sure you make some more mistakes when you are young, everyone does. But to constantly make the same misstake again and again and again is not really defendable.

To be clear. I think that the NFLs DUI/DWI policy is to light. But the weed policy is too stiff. But if you know that your employer constantly tests against weed, and you have been suspended for it before and know that you will be suspended for it a whole year the next time, then maybe it's time to stop smoking weed for a few years and earn those millions upon millions that you can earn if you get to play full years.

And @Brady6. No need to send me PMs complaining about me disagreeing with you. For you have to understand that when you write stuff on a forum people will disagree with you. Not everything you say is something that the whole world will rise up in unison to say "that's the best thing I've ever heard". Saying that I "clearly have issues with the real world and reality" because I pressed a dislike button on a forum is, well an interesting opinion.

You should learn the difference between dislike and disagree, I do not care if you click the disagree button but to dislike it does not mean that you disagreed it just means you did not like what I wrote, I call that the ***** button, it is a **** move, you just dislike someone’s post and troll along. I do not use it unless a poster says something that directly offensive to me, because that is the only thing that should merit dislike, to many posters misuse the ratings in here, use the rating to settle personal issues or just be douchebags, it has really become old at this point, so from now on I will be calling the poster out for the **** move when they make it.

Like @MAYOnnaise for example dude has made 66 posts in 5 years but trolls around here disliking posts, but cannot man up and write a post. Like I said **** move.

Assuming Pats would be buying low, that's an easy "yes."

But why the heck would Cleveland unload the guy, who will still be on his rookie contract through the 2016 season, at a time when they will get the least conceivable amount in return?

Marinlik so your saying you never made the same mistake before and never did anything you look back on and think was stupid or wished you did better like got better grades or worked harder, wow you must be attending Harvard, not being rude just Gordon messed up, just because you never made the same mistake doesn't make him stupid and you so Mich better

Posters forget that Dennard served time this offseason, Thompkins did time for drugs distribution in the past, Don Jones was suspended for social media gay bashing last year, and we have 2 players serving 4 game suspensions as we speak.

Would You Trade For Josh Gordon?

trade WHAT?..yeah, OK..a 7th round pick...only if he signs a league minimum contract. He could fit in with any number of NFL teams but the Patriots are NOT that team for anything more than one year prove it look. in my opinion, before the screwy post haters go beserk with the insults.

4th round pick is the highest I would use. Anything dearer, then no.

The Randy Moss Gambit?...I could see that....

Yes but Cleveland would be stupid to trade him. His value on the field is not worth what he would net in trade. They're better off keeping him and hope he gets his priorities in line than trading him for a day 3 pick or some ****.

in his defense, have any of you ever been to Cleveland?

OK, I'm not saying we should, but could Josh be one of those lost souls that we could give a second chance to?

He is obviously a very talented receiver

Last season I would have traded a #1 for him and I wanted us at the time to trade a #One if that's what it took to get him even before he exploded with those big games because I believed he was super talented. And I was Pi$$ed when we didn't trade for him. Even more pissed when he blew up. However I really like kenbrell and Dobson and now that they are comfortable and natural there's not a big need for Gordon. I think Kenbrell are incredible talents. Both run a 4.45 or better, Dobson has run 4.37 and validated it when he outran a 4.30 guy for that 81 yard TD. Not sure if Kenbrell has got to 4.3 range but several players in practice said he was faster than they had thought. But his skill is his lightning release and suddenness in and out of breaks. If the Online can give time I think Kenbrell and Dobson could be borderline #1 WRs. Both get consistent separation. Browner was scolded to stop holding and grabbing in practice and responded he needs to feel Kenbrell out due to his rare quickness and moves off the line. His cousin Antonio Brown said Kenbrell has more raw skill than he does. We know Dobson can make big plays so there's no need to give up a high pick for Gordon. Kenbrell and Dobson will be very good if the Online allows them to run big play routes.

Between Kenbrell,Dobson,Gronk, Vereen,Edelman, along with Wright and Amendola this offense has as much firepower as the Broncos, its all on the Oline
