One against the saints?

One against the saints?

Yes.

Although in all honesty I think it was as much the incoherence of the play-by-play as the play itself. :p

Come on, son, that's not that spectacular unless you factor in Zo's bombastic call...

A good play in a good situation, to be sure, but the play of the year? Not sure.

The BEST play of 2013

That was the game where half the board quit watching(myself included) and then they got the turn over and drove it down.

Just an incredible end.

That's pretty cool that it made it to #1.

I think we often forget about how close the games were last year. Granted they were fun to watch. We definitely improved over the prior season, but it's important to remember how gritty and well-coached the team was last year. No Scar or Pepper Johnson this year, and toughness is near-impossible to coach.

I almost quit watching and went to the bar. But something was telling me to stay. I'm glad I did. When Thompkins caught it, I stood up, shouted, and ripped my jersey off. Hell of a play.

what a roller coaster season. i loved it. the team really showed a lot of character.

I still remember that play, was the first time I was at Gillette, pretty pathetic for how long a fan I have been of this team. We were down standing under the banners and I was talking to a couple security kids there. We all ran around in a circle, some clockwise and some counter clockwise when the catch was made. There was no doubt I was staying for the whole game. I wish in hindsight I tried to get a little closer at the other end of the stadium but that moment, and inside the stadium afterwards, and outside the stadium afterwards. Then turned around and drove 11 hours back to Halifax. Wicked good.

Left the board? you should have been at the game! Lots of people left from my section. I told them to stay...I've seen too many come backs to give up. Have to laugh thinking about what their reaction must have been as they were walking to their cars and the hearing the celebration.

At least it wasn't a situation like this...
