Wes Welker suspended 4 games

Adderall probably.

I'd have a hard time believing that Welker just suddenly started taking Adderall after close to 10 seasons in the league, and if he was taking it before he was obviously in the exempt status as far as the NFL goes, so he wouldn't get in trouble for it.

You may be right, and he was just recently diagnosed with ADHD, but that would be a rare/odd case.

Those who thought him and Hernandez locker room beef was over how to work the video equipment - Wong! It was a drug deal gone bad.. .

This is very sad. I will still wear my Welker jersey once he retires though. He may have (literately) gave up his high quality of life for the team. The ugly side of football.

Didn't know he was diagnosed for ADHD

@DougKyedNESN: Ah. RT @ProFootballTalk: Source: Welker took Molly at the Kentucky Derby. It had been cut with amphetamines.

I'm not saying that he was--I am just saying that it's possible the poster was correct and it is for Adderall.

Personally, I'm not buying it myself.

Whoops read it wrong, my bad

Makes sense. I recall seeing videos of him messed up last couple of Kentucky Derbies and it didn't look like he was drunk.

If the Molly report is true it makes sense why he was appearing to be loaded, walking around and handing out 100 dollar bills--stumbling like an idiot. LOL

What a shame I would of never seen this comeing. I think it's time Welker retires.

Lol he took Molly at the Kentucky Derby.

If Welker's career continues to go down the drain:

WR1: Dobson<<<<D. Thomas
WR2: Edelman>>Sanders
WR3: Amendola>>Caldwell
WR4: KT/Lafell>>Latimer
TE1: Gronk>>>J. Thomas
TE2: Wright>Tamme
RBs: Ridley/Vereen>>>Ball/Hillman

Just one year removed from the 2013 mess, one could argue we have better weapons at this point.

- On May 13, 2014 former Florida wide receiver Reche Caldwell was arrested for possession of the drug MDMA, commonly known as "Molly" with the intent to distribute. Authorities found nearly 5 pounds of the drug.

(Molly btw for us older farts is very similar to the drug Ecstasy. Joker, Ecstasy is like an upper).

Mmm.. has anyone looked into the possibility that Molly causes weird-eye?

Don't sleep on Latimer, he's supposed to be filthy

I wonder if it is because he has been having focusing issues. I posted a couple weeks ago that his drop rate skyrocketed the last two years. He had an 2.9% drop rate in 2011, a 5.7% drop rate in 2012, and 9.0 drop rate last year. Other than his first year back from his ACL tear, Welker never had a drop rate higher than 3.8% with the Pats prior to his last year with them.

Also, everyone who talks to him say his speech is slower today than a few years ago (Greg Bedard said it today on 98.5).
