Hi,

As I mentioned in a previous thread, my son and I are flying from Australia to Boston to watch Pats v Broncos on Nov 2. As yet, I don’t have tickets for this game. There are a few tickets available on SeatGeek in the second level for around $400 each. I was told that is way too high a price to pay and that I should wait for tickets to become available on the Patriots Ticket Exchange.

I just had a look at the Ticket Exchange and there are currently no tickets for sale for that game. Can someone tell me when these tickets will become available? The last thing I want to do is fly all the way to Boston and miss the game because I can’t get tickets. Also, I’m not a season ticket or wait list member, so I would need someone to purchase the tickets for me for collection at the game. I suppose I could wire the money to the buyer? Is this the best forum to search for a willing buyer?

Anyway, I would appreciate some advice on this- lock the tickets in now at $400 each, or hope I can find someone to buy the tickets on my behalf and bring them to the game?

Chris

Closer to game time prices will drop. Now if both teams are undefeated at that point..it may stay the same. But almost always drops

They most likely won't be any available on the Patriots ticket exchange until a few days before the game if at all. This is the biggest home game of the season.

Oh there will be tix on ticket exchange...found some to last year's match. AFC champ tickets are in the same boat. Always tix 2-3 days before.

But sucks for traveling.

I think it all depends on how much peace of mind is worth to you. Yes, you may save 50-100 bucks a ticket, but if you get locked in now, you'll know that it's taken care of.

You can get tickets between $200-300 on stubhub.

Yep, I agree.

Yeah, but I believe they are what you Americans call "nose bleed seats". I was hoping for a couple of seats on the second level. I'm also restricted to buying e-tickets, because I can't risk my paper tickets not arriving before I leave Oz. I'll keep an eye on Seatgeek and Stubhub and hopefully some decent tickets will appear soon.

I just had another look on Stubhub. They have tickets in Mezzanine corner 238 (no alcohol) for $288. I guess they are cheaper due to the no alcohol restriction? They aren't e-tickets, but it looks like I can collect them from a Stubhub Last Minute Service Centre (no idea where that is though).

I bought 2 tickets in the no alcohol mezzanine section. Can't wait to watch the game. Thanks for the feedback.

OT, but didn't I read seat geek got around $35M in capital investment from some notable names (Mannings, Carmelo Anthony, Wyc Grousbeck amongst others)? Company looks to be gaining steam.

I could be wrong, but I believe that seatgeek is the ticket broker that Wicked Pissah's nephew is involved in. I don't know to what extent, but I believe that he's shared that information in the past.

Enjoy the game, as I'm sure it will be a memorable event for you. I think you made the right decision to be honest, especially with the travel that is involved. Bring us some good luck and vibes :)

Stubhub is absolutely legit. I always use them and never had a problem. you'll enjoy the game - the stadium and atmosphere will be awesome.

Yes

My co-founder nephew Jack is on the left. He does the marketing and investment fund raising.

I will have to disown him for accepting equity investment from the Manning brothers though.
