Gronk: "I'm ready to go. I'll be playing"

Personally, I would like to see him do nothing until week 16. Get some practice in and get ready for the playoffs. A healthy Gronk would have given us the Superbowl in 2011 or 2012.

I just hope we don't see him suspended for 6 games once refs find the hidden protective kielbasas wrapped around his forearm & knee.

Would you like it if Gronk is held out that long then gets injured in the first game? There's no way to tell when someone will get injured. If someone is ready to play, you play them.

Glad to hear this news! Can't wait to see him back out there and see how he teams with Wright.

Yeah, because that is how pro football works

Maybe we should hold out Brady and play JAG at QB until the OL settles down

Even better forfeit the first 6 games and then win the last 10 and squeak into the playoffs with a much healthier team than anyone else.

let's just wrap all the players in bubble wrap and coat them in jelly...can't have any physicality in pro football...we want sensitive, caring ,nurturing ,safe NFL football.

(what a load of unadulterated gd'ed garbage...)

Yup, if this board had their way we'd be hiding every single player.

Have Gronk quickly fall down whenever he catches a pass.

16 games...calling it now

hoping 16 games played in the regular season...and Gronk is like adrian peterson and comes back healthy and better than before

Of course Gronk--like every other player on the roster--should be out there playing when he's ready to go. No question.

But I think we can all agree that more than anything we want that guy out there when it really matters....meaning, the AFC Championship game and the Super Bowl. If there's one wish we as Pats fans have this year, it's for the justice of seeing our key guys being there to compete this year.

Give us that at least, football injury gods. Just give 'em a chance.

So happy to hear this. My question is how much will he play week 1? I really don't expect him to play that much.

It'll be a shame if we a aren't treated to at least 5 healthy Gronk seasons. He's an incredible talent and fun to watch. He manages to be entertaining just with his love of the game rather than theatrics. If his career continues to be bogged down with injuries it'll be a loss for the Patriots and NFL.
GOAT Tight end when healthy.

Decoy every play. Be in there for 16 straight weeks and never be thrown to. No one will ever figure it out. Then, in the playoffs, we can let Gronk loose and he can catch 12 balls per game for 3 TDs and 125 yards per game. What's the problem? Holy sh**...
