Who gets the start at CB #2?

We're pretty deep at this position (can't believe I actually typed that) and it'll be interesting to see who gets the start. It'll probably come down to who has the better practice this week. My vote is Logan Ryan.

Dennard or Butler.

Logan Ryan spent too much time playing in the pre-season to make me think he will be opposite Revis.

I am pretty sure it is Dennard. He was a good #2 CB without Revis, why wouldn't he be there now. I thought before training camp that Ryan might have been able to make the jump to replace him in that spot, but he hasn't shown that he can at this point.

Ryan would be my 3rd choice.
Dennard should be ready with the extra days.
After Dennard yes, I'd go with Butler.

I'll go with the preseason game 3 lineup:

CB1: Revis
CB2: Butler
Nickel: Dennard
Dime: Arrington

Ryan? No idea.

Whoever it is they should expect a lot of action coming their way.

Ryan or Dennard

Butler seems solid but is getting extremely overrated.

I still think Ryan is the best of the bunch. He seemed to be a bit inconsistent this summer and the AFCCG,but overall he had a very good rookie year. Excellent ball skills and his QB compl % vs was excellent.

I think Dennard switches jerseys with Browner who starts. Muahahaha!!!!!!

My impression was that Dennard was still working his way back from injury at that point. My money's on Dennard starting.

I agree. Showing a bit of a flash in pre-season is one thing. Playing against 1st-team in regular season is another. Dennard deserves to play, has he did more than adequate last year.

It's going to be Dennard. He'll get the starting CB2 job until Browner gets back, then I expect they'll kick him inside to nickelback more often than not (depending on match-ups, of course).

Whomever it is will get plenty of safety help....

I'm going to stick with Dennard until we see otherwise. He's a proven, capable CB2

Dennard. But vs MIA? Could see Butler

Dennard will be the CB2. I'm more curious about who comes on the field in the nickel--Arrington or Butler (making Dennard slide to nickelback)? Or even Ryan, although I'm not so sure about the preseason he had.

Good problems to have here.

Do you think Browner can play man-to-man well or is he more of a zone corner?

I'll go with Dennard, but it could be possibly Butler too.
