Attention draftniks (I'm not one) and students of opposing rosters. Given that some draft binkies elsewhere have ben cut, who would be worth considering as the Pats 53rd player?

Also vets on their last one year role playing tour.

Bonus points for naming who you'd cut to make room.

Does the "others" in the title mean I cannot say Jake Bequette?

Stephen Hill just because if he becomes anything Jets fans would go (even more) apoplectic!

Before Manx gets in too, Nikita Whitlock!

Daryl Richardson from the Jets. Unlike Hill he's actually a damn good player and the Jets are loaded at rb. It's not clear to me that Bolden is better than he is, even knowing the system.

The commissioner likes a circus so lets get on his good side and cut Promising Zach Moore and bring in Michael Sam. Let's become the NFL's most interesting team. Think of the media attention of Michael Sam playing in the Superbowl. Then getting 2 sacks and game MVP.

Since I cannot have Bequette, I would consider these moves:

Daniel Thomas/cut Bolden
Devin Still/cut Vellano
Josh Andrews/cut Barker
Kelvin Sheppard/cut White

I would also look at trying to sign these players to the practice squad:

Rob Blanchflower, TE
Kelcy Quarles, DL
Lache Seastrunk, RB
Brandon Coleman, WR

But what if the jets roid up Bequette and he becomes great lol.

I like the LB Smallwood. Collins could be rushing the passer quite often and we need a lb that's at least functional in coverage. Maybe even bulk Chung into a LB.
I know many won't like this but I'm not a fan of High tower. Hopefully he plays great. When we drafted him I liked him. From what I heard he played almost as fast as a bowman with size and physicality of Spikes. The more I watch home is no more explosive than spikes and lacks Brandons nasty edge. To many times game broadcasters pointed out he needs to show more burst. He can't cover in a passing league. He is to slow to contain running QBs. He can blitz but he wouldn't beat OLineman nearly consistently enough. He doesn't have burst or athleticism.Guards and DTs have run a better 3 cone and shuttle than Hightower. They can play him at middle LB but teams will exploit him when they know he can't cover. He said himself he doesn't want to follow and cover or chase down a Shane Vereen or TEs. Would you want Zach Moore or Collins with his rare explosiveness not rushing the qb in favor of hightower. I hope he plays great but I think offenses will make sure he has to cover when they know he can't. Would anybody want Wilson or kaepernick blow right by him for a 50 yard score in the Superbowl. Packers get beaten by sf and Seattle because the QBs toast their slow LBs. That's why they drafted haha and rams drafted a fast lb last year and a 4.69 DT this yr. To contain running qbs ask the packers who had qbs run for over 150 yards in the playoffs every yr

I wouldn't mind seeing Sam get signed if Buchanan's injury will have him missing time.

Duke Ihenacho, 25yrs old. SS. 6'1". Played all games as a Bronco. I think he would be a good backup than Tavon.

IMO

He's pretty terrible in coverage. We already have too many safeties that can't cover IMO.

Olympic Silver medalist Jeff Demps is out there. He's familiar with the system. He'd be a good addition to the PS. If you want to practice battling speed, he's the guy.

Yawin Smallwood, Kevin Reddick and Robert Lester are interesting to me. I would also say Devon Still but we are pretty loaded at DT.

Im all for this if we can also bring in Tebow and Manziel at the same time.. :D

Then we could sit back and enjoy watching the media lapse into tears as Belichick makes a hand gesture and responds to their questions with: These are not the answers you're looking for..

Actually the first thing that passed through my mind when they cut Danny Aiken was "Hmm, I wonder if Tim Tebow can long snap? Watch BB just totally blow up the internet."
