PatsFans FF League?

That draft time still works for me, too.

Draft works great for me.

im interested in a no money league
Here you go:

Anyone interested in joining yet another no money FFL, with defensive players (just a few positions) and points for receptions and for completions, let me know. [email protected]

I've been in this league the last few years, and it has been fun and interesting. It's only a slight variation from "standard" leagues (if anything can be called standard anymore), with three defensive players: one DL, one LB and one DB, and a slight variation on QB scoring. Nothing so bizarre that you need to change your draft rankings or strategy.

Anybody that is interested, please send an email to [email protected]. Draft is scheduled for Saturday.

Date works for me

Email sent.

Works for me as well. Assuming EDT.

Going to be hard to draft with you people..I want all the pats players like everyone else :)

We actually used them in my last league (Yahoo). Not sure if we have one here or not.

I'd just take Mayo every year, due to the # of tackles. It was a safe pick.

I may get 0 points..but I would love my team.

Do we have an Individual Defensive Player in the ESPN league, BTM?

I have actually never played FF before. I did a quick read up on what to expect but hadn't come across the IDP mechanic.

I was actually was attempting to be self-depreciating by admitting a hole in my understanding and not pointing out an error on your part. :)

Oh, no worries--DZ. I didn't take it that way at all.

It actually may be an error on my part. I'm not totally sure, to be honest. Some leagues use them and some don't. I never thought about it until now.

If we do use an IDP, try and choose a MLB like a Mayo, Bobby Wagner, etc---because you'll get a lot of tackles. Of course, some people believe that sacks or INTs are the way to go too, so keep that in mind. I think that tackles are the safer way to go, myself.

In what round do you try to nab a IDP?

:D

And as far as never playing before, you can find what they call "cheat sheets" online, and either keep them in another window and/or print them, so that you can know who is left and who to take--etc.

You can probably go to yahoo, ESPN, etc and find the rankings or cheat sheets. Hope that helps.

:D

In my previous leagues, we had 20 rounds for each team. The kickers would usually go at the end, although some chose the IDP. Either way, you'll likely want a K or IDP in the last couple of rounds at the end.

If anyone disagrees with me, please correct me, but that's how I normally did it in my past leagues.
