@DougKyedNESN: DT Sealver Siliga was in full pads at Patriots practice, but he was limited to conditioning work. No brace on his left wrist.

Awesome news about Siliga. I think he will surprise some people this year.

Sounds like he surprised Tommy Kelly :p

Regarding the comparing secondaries on a player by player basis, I echo the thought that it's about the communication of the unit as a whole. Earl Thomas is a fantastic player and good communicator. Sherman is also a much better communicator than he gets credit for. There's a video of him out there where he basically knows everyone's assignments on just about every snap, it was pretty cool to watch.

I don't think our secondary has the same level of communication that Seattle's has. Gregory was the communicator for us last year, will McCourty assume those responsibilities? Revis is also not very well known for communicating. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Michael Buchanan said he worked hard over the offseason adding strength, putting on weight. Listed at 6'6", 255 pounds, said he's up to 265.

Any word on how much baby fat he lost? And what's his body fat % at now? He can get a great quick-twitch by dropping it. Sacks galore coming up!

Pfft. Ten pounds in a year? I do that without even trying.

You're obviously joking, I know, but for those who don't do a lot of gym work, putting on 10lbs of muscle is a very difficulty feat, especially when you need to also condition yourself with sprints and endurance runs.

Always impressed to hear about these kinds of things, I hope it works out for him as well as it did for Chandler, he just needs to practice technique so he doesn't get bullied in the run game so easily.

I am disappointed that they NEVER update players' heights and weights. They measure them each year, and they should list the current stats each year.

The deep ball from Brady to Boyce. I wonder looking at this if there would have been a sack here in a real game? or if the pocket was there but the rush just went around Brady?

Thanks for posting these clips! This looks like the same Brady to Thompkins pass from a different angle to me. And yes, I do believe it would have been a sack or throw away in a game setting.
