Really wouldn't read anything into Thompkins being out there other than Boyce terrible play

Way off topic here but hey it's the last PS game so why not. Taylor McCuller.. his last name reminded me of a FB we had here for about a year or so about ten years ago that I completely forgot about, Fred McCrary..

Anyone else remember him?

Why did I think that a knee counted as a second foot? I must be confusing in one of the rules that count a runner as down.

Is it not 2 feet, knee or arm for a TD? A real game might have seen a challenge.

KT started across Edelman against Philly and pretty sure Carolina as well. He's above Lafell on the depth chart and is better than Amendola IMO.

I can't get a TV feed of the game, so thanks to everyone for the detailed comments. What I've gleaned so far (in no particular order):

Offense:

1. Garoppolo continues to impress.
2. Tim Wright looks impressive for a guy who just got here, looks much bigger than 220#, runs well in traffic, has decent hands, and has lined up as a move TE at times.
3. The OL doesn't look terrible, especially Kline and Stork. Halapio has not impressed. Devey/Barker haven't been bad at LT.
4. Dobson has been dominant against scrubs. Boyce and Gallon look like fodder, or worse.
5. James White doesn't impress as a runner, but has solid 3rd-down back skills.

Defense:

1. Malcolm Butler continues to make plays.
2. James Morris got hurt - not sure how serious it looks.
3. Buchanan and Zach Moore look impressive.
4. Overall, the backup defensive unit has been solid.

Not sure about how Jerel Worthy has looked, and haven't heard Darius Fleming mentioned much. Is Nate Ebner getting time as safety, or just on STs, and if the former, has he shown the ability to perhaps be more than a STer?

Does that sound about right?

Defense
5. Bequette is destroying souls.

Also, while Gallon doesn't look great he still looks better than Boyce. Which sould be embarrassing for Boyce given that Gallon just started practicing a week or two ago.

I do not remember him but he reminds me of Spencer Larsen.

Ryan Nassib > Eli Manning

I do read something into Duron Harmon being on the field right now.

Anyone remember if Revis was as animated with all the wide smiling and laughing while on the Jets sideline?

McCuller gonna at least make PS

Awesome strip

Nice strip by swanson

They talked about it on TV too, he had a playbook his first 2 years but his final 2 years they used 'chess pieces and just played Football every week for 2 years without a playbook like you would with friends'. Or words to that effect.

How in the world does that coach have a job?

"What exactly would you say it is, you DO here?"

Wright has definitely stood out. Looks a lot bigger than 220, probably over 230 if I had to guess.

Halapio sucks, but I went into this game hoping to see signs of encouragement from Kline and Stork, and they both looked fine. Stork looked genuinely good, even.

Worthy looked like crap, I can't imagine he'll make the team. Ebner has looked good at safety. He took a bad angle on that long run that set up the Giants' TD, but otherwise he's been pretty good. Sure tackler, almost singlehandedly forced fourth and goal with a good 3rd and goal stick.

I haven't been paying a ton of attention to the LBs, so take it FWIW, but I'm not e ven sure that Fleming played tonight. I mean, I would assume he did, but he didn't stand out for better or worse.
