Garoppolo definitely could've done more to help him, but he didn't hold the ball long enough that I'd put the blame solidly on him. Pretty much the entire line collapsed on that play. Not surprised, though, the line has looked quite a bit worse whenever Cave has been in there.

As a 2nd string backup?...I can see him doing that as the season moves along.

Ready to start in the NFL?....heh....hope we don't have to find out.

Wright has looked great considering he has only been here 2 days.

I agree on 3 of 5. I thought Wilson was a mixed bag, and I like White. That route he ran out of the backfield was nice, most RBs can't do that.

If Boyce wasn't on the field, Jimmy would've had a 4th great day. From what we've seen all preseason, I think it's time to roll with Grop as QB2.

His only negative trait that continues to stick out is he is somewhat oblivious like Big Ben/Wilson; he just won't throw the ball away on some plays.

I don't get the game, how has Zach Moore looked?

he needs to make his reads quicker also.

I like his movement in the pocket...he IS a bona fide QB. I didn't think much of him at all when he was drafted. I'm getting to be a believer. He makes you want to watch him. Mallett makes you want to put your hands over your eyes.

I am no Gymrat but I would guess Wright weighs at least 235-240lbs. He is significantly bigger than LaFell and Dobson so I do not know what the announcer is talking about. Hernandez only weighed 245lbs when he entered the NFL.

I agree about White, he hasn't impressed much on the ground but has been very solid in the passing game and as a check-down option.

I take back every nice thing I've ever said about Josh Boyce. He looks like he just got the playbook a minute ago. He doesn't even look fast...

Wright needs to be 240-245 next season. Any production from him this season is a bonus.

Boyce will be fortunate if he makes our practice squad.

I thought Garopollo looked very good, the Oline looks like Swiss cheese, and there is pressure on MOST pass plays. Line isn't opening up lanes for the runners also.

Impressed with Garopollo this half. Looked good in the pocket, clearly had a pocket presence and can sense the rush. Looks good with the deep ball, too, and has a connection with Dobson, it seems. Hope Brady has the same this year!

If you can't tell, that's not a bad thing.

He pulled a hammy during camp. He looked tentative when he came back at practice. He showed no fight at all. I wrote him off then. Pats have too many hungry young guys that WANT the ball.
