Pats1, BOR, and Mo were some of my Patsfans heroes when I first joined. I miss those dudes.

I consider Keegs and ScottieC internet friends. Love those guys. Keegs may be the funniest non-Jew on the internet.

And also Teenuh was special.

Scottie was one of the first people that stuck up for me when I came in here as a brash 20 year old talking **** to everyone. When I was a broke college student and couldn't pay to support the site but wanted to anyway, he took it upon himself to pay for my support subscription. Awesome dude. Not sure where he went but hopefully he's living well.

Very true. You were missed too when you needed time for real life.
Thanks. I definitely needed that break in 2009 or whenever that was. I know I've really slowed down since 2012. I'd love to post as much as I did back when I lived in China. Hopefully I can pick up the pace this year (probably to the detriment of the site).

I hope Mo and the others are OK. I used to tell my wife to logon and let everyone know I died in case a safe fell on my head or something.

Well, some of us have got to the age where we spend a lot of time living in the past -- or remembering hating on Patrick Pass.

That's because we can remember what happened 60 years ago like it was yesterday but can't remember where we put our car keys last night. ;)

I've been a long time lurker but always enjoyed the guy's posts along with Jays52(? I think that was his name), both always gave insightful posts, so I'd love to hear from those two guys.

(Sorry Jays52 if you've been active recently and I just missed it.)

Awww I here and I miss you too!

Haha just not all that much to talk about right now. Plus I've gotten pretty into MMA the past few years and there's only so much space in my simple monkey brain :)

Fuggin a, BoR does that name bring me back. Dude was the best.

while that may well be the case, if you read the posts leading up to March 16th 2013, when he last posted, you won't see his opinions ignorantly being attacked.Seems strange he'd react to things that riled him up years earlier.

He basically said I'm outta here. He may have had other things going on that just made dealing with forum morons a luxury.

Mo's departure coincides with Welker's departure.

It would not be shocking if Mo is still in the fetal position wearing an orange number 83 jersey.

Guys hated on Patrick Pass? That's like hating white rice (or Bolden).

"But he carried on, and at times was a useful player. However when given a chance to play more than a few snaps a game, he always seemed to do something counterproductive.

Take, for example, the October 31st, 2005 game against the Denver Broncos. Pass got the start because then starting running back Corey Dillon was out with an injured ankle. Pass looked decent early, gaining 17 yards on his first three carries.

But his fourth carry would be his last.

The Patriots ran a sweep. As Pass turned the corner, he appeared to be shot in the leg. He immediately threw the ball to the ground and grabbed his leg, presumably expecting to find a bullet wound. Only it wasn’t a bullet wound, it was a pulled hamstring."

Charlie Weis really hated Patrick Pass. If I wasn't as old as Moe or Box I'd remember the quote from Patriot Reign. I DID see Charlie light into Patrick one day at Smithfield summer camp. He was freakin' hilarious!

Do you work for the ACME corporation?

And Pats1.

It was his and BORs back-and-forth game breakdowns that hooked me on this site in the first place.

Pats1 now works for ESPN and so cannot post here because of a "conflict of interest" stipulation. Don't ask me who he really is as I cannot reveal that information (per his request); I think Ian is the only other person who knows.

That explains it. Being a Pats fan is a conflict of interest for any ESPN employee.

But this is certainly better news than I have thought. I thought Mo was dead.

So did I.

Someone was saying that about a year ago when he had disappeared for a few months.

I know who it is. Pretty easy to surmise as well.

Same thought here, since there was at least one thread in the past about how ____ ______ used to post here and everyone was trying to guess his user name.

Unless there's another former poster who works for ESPN.

That's just bad journalism. It wasn't against the Broncos. I was at that game. It was against the Bills and it was the game better known as Bruschi's Return From Stroke Game. I've never heard the stadium louder before or since at the moment he ran onto the field.
