Any Chance of Bringing in Richie Incognito?

Let's put it this way: I'd rather have Incognito helping protect the inside pass-rush than any of
Kline, Devey, Barker, Cave, Halapio, Connolly, Wendy or Stork.

Bill obviously doesn't care overmuch about talent on the IOL and, as Felger was saying today, he's pretty much said just that. He wants cheap boy scouts who won't buck the team on contracts. If Brady dies because the IOL hangs the relatively immobile QB out to dry, so be it.

I said in the middle of the fiasco that I'd love to see Incognito here and I still would. Because I try to live in the real world not the "Patriot Way" fantasy. The reality is I'm sure we've got plenty of assholes on our team. At least with this one (Incognito) he'd be on best behavior.

They said the Bucs brought him in to speed up the pats in this move so as of now no other teams have showed interest. Don't think we sign him.

You people wanting Incognito clearly have never seen him play. He's a horrible pass defender and an adequate run blocker.. Whooopdee.. We have better than that already on the team in Wendell. And Wendell's not long for the team unless Stork can't go.. Which is saying something.

Sounds like a really **** version of Logan Mankins in 2013. ;)

I still think Wendell was the cause of many a problem for Logan Mankins.

DaBruinz, He was a Pro Bowler in his last full season. He's a great agitator, but I don't think he's trash as a player....

Richie should not be a Patriot. Also, he's had no offseason in a complex offense. Probably most of all he's a jerk

What is this continuous infatuation with the JAG known as Richie Incognito. There is a reason he got booted from Buffalo and St. Louis. And it has a lot more to do with him not being that good of a player as much as his immaturity and classlessness.

The guy is a cancer.
How much would Alex Boone cost? We have the CAP space. We would have traded a 33 year old for a 27 year old. It might cost us a 2nd. So what. Our seconds have been hit and miss and we get a Pro Bowl value, a pick in the 4th that maybe on the higher end pending the Bucs finish and a TE who may be the AH replacement.

They offered him a contact to make him top 12 paid guards in the NFL. That should be less than Mankins anyway. A second? Yep. I am doing it.How many second rounders we know for sure are Pro Bowl ready in 2015?

What's even more galling is that if my worst-case scenario (Kline, Wendy & Connolly as starters)
comes true, then we might be the only team in the league in which all 3 IOL starters were not
drafted in any round whatsoever. That's a lot of ThanksDad.

Because draft status matters so much to Belichick.

I doubt there are any at the level of Incognito. This guy has been to 2 colleges and 3 pro teams and left each and every one of them on bad terms. I doubt his tendency to commit personal fouls endears him to Coach Bill, either.

Pro-Bowl = popularity contest. It means nothing in the scheme of things. He was a lone bright spot on a crappy Miami team..

And he wasn't even elected. He got there because Yanda was going to the SB.
