Bradford down -- Mallett to STL?

I like the optimism in this thread, but I doubt St. Louis would give up much for Mallett, who is highly overrated by this board. Mallett has not shown he a good NFL quarterback, and maybe not even average. He has "raw skills"- big whoop- so does every other QB that makes it to the league.

I would be more interested in signing Bradford when he is cut. If Brady does get injured or nears the end, I believe that Bradford is a rare opportunity to get a top-line quarterback relatively cheap. He has been very good with below average players around him on offense, and the Patriots are one of the few teams that could afford this type of project. Bradford did play for Josh McD, so I'm guessing that he could work well within the system.

Why they should go for Mallett? Vick and " Buttfumble" are out there. And even Cousins make more sense.

Bradford a top line QB? In which country? Maybe in the Canadian league.

I would rather give a shot to Sanchez, at least he can hit a wide open receiver, what I have seen Bradford under throw.

I dont get the fascination with Kirk Cousins. At least Mallet hasn't proven he can't play.
Sanchez? Really? Schottenheimer would resign.

And now, I present perhaps the single dumbest idea I've seen yet re: the Rams replacing Bradford. Yes, worse than the idea of the Rams somehow convincing BB to cough up Garoppolo instead.

Cousins probably isn't going anywhere for when RG III has to miss time. Vick will play for the NYJ when Geno sucks it up. Sanchez completely sucks as a starter, we've seen that play out already.

I'm starting this rumor: Mallett to OAK for Mack. Boom.

Dear Lord
Have I not suffered enough?
All through off season I endured endless rumors of The Hammah for Houston's #1 or #2
I bore this with humility as my just deserved pennance for my myriad wrongdoings
Then I was delivered into a period of tranquility as reality intruded and the fantasy stopped
Perhaps I did not give sufficient thanks for at this hour I am again tested by trial with even more ludicrous fantasies
I know I deserve this suffering but if it does not stop, I'm joining with the Dark Side guy

To gain an asset for Mallett.....IT's NOW or NEVER....time to get "conditionally" creative....a 4th that can climb up the ladder a few rounds for games/starts.
Mallett, Ridley, and my dark horse to get traded...Danny A..........chips chips chips and a TE, S, and DT as well. Trader BB is gearing up....I can taste it :)

Doesn't Jerry Jones love him some Razorback.....lets pick off the horny old bugger

Throw in a hot picture of Kraft's "neice"....and say the deal is done

Bradford has had terrible offensive lines and receivers and played against the NFC West secondaries. I'm not saying he is Drew Brees, but he could still turn out to be a very good player. Last year he had 14 TDs and 4 INTs when he went down. Danny Amendola is the best receiver he's had in his career.

Sanchez? Really? This guy is not even a starting caliber quarterback. I think that Bradford best-case scenario he could be a top-10 QB; Sanchez will never be a top-32 QB.

If the Rams want to pick first in the 2015 NFL draft go ahead and trade for the Thin Man, Mallet.

Whatever the assessment of Bradford (and I tend to agree with the side that says he sucks) he is simply made of glass and you cannot rely on him as your QB.
He tore an ACL on a hit to the upper body that didn't even knock him off his feet.

We need Mayock to spearhead Operation Jettison Mallett

Umm, you do know Welkah tore his ACL without even being contacted?

Lets line all 3 up with what the Rams already have in Shaun Hill.

Sanchez: Has experience with Shotty and is having a very solid preseason, and is on a one year deal.
Cousins: Has starting experience with a bad preseason and 2 years left on his contract.
Mallet: Up and down preaseason with no experience in shotty's system, and 1 year left on his contract.

Shaun Hill: Already in house, has snaps and time under the system

IMO if the Rams are done with Bradford which seems to be a league wide consensus at this point and with the talent in next years QB class, they aren't likely to pick a QB up right now for the future. You can roll with Shaun Hill who will give you a decent shot to win some games and draft your QB in the next draft. You can call up the eagles and go after Sanchez who might cost the most after this preseason and he may be able to give you a better shot to win than Hill (lol). You can give up assets for Kirk Cousins and have him for 2 years which will give you time to evaluate him this year after he learns the offense and possibly go with him for the QB of the future or you can give Mallett this year and try to let him learn the offense like Cousins would have to but be faced with keeping him or drafting a QB for the next year. For the Rams its a player like Sanchez who would probably give you no greater chance to win than Shaun HIll or you can stick with what you have in Hill and see what he can give you while preparing for next year. Mallet hasn't proven anything and neither has Cousins. At least the Sanchize has proven he can be carried to a couple of conference championship games behind a talented defense.

I tend to agree with your analysis, I just don't have any consideration for what they are looking like in pre season games, I don't read anything in those games because we don't know the purpose, a lot of tests are made and that can mess up any QB stat.
