With the Bengals keeping Jeremy Hill and Bernard, rumor is that Green-Ellis could be on his way out of Cincy. This was said during the Bengals preseason game, with the hometown announcers sounding as if he is gone.

Should we kick the tires on the Law Firm if he is cut or stand pat?

No. I don't see any particular value to bringing in a older JAG running back.

I like BJGE for a lot of reasons, but seldom do they come back...

Right now RB has a lot of depth for this team...

is this before or After Ridley is cut? :)

Absolutely not.

All set imo

I would give him a call. I want to see if it's just the situation he was in on the Bungles, or his ball security did really fall off a cliff. IMO at worst he's no more of a JAG than Brandon Bolden.

And if the Law Firm of a few years ago returns, he's about equal to Ridley...without the fumbles.

Law Firm was never close to Ridley. Ridley is a much better and more talented runner. I'd much rather take Ridley and his 4 fumbles a year than BenJarvus and 0 fumbles. I just don't see him being worth a roster spot over any other of our runners. Maybe over Bolden if they have the same salary. But not in any other situation.

Only if somebody gets injured before BJGE signs elsewhere.

No thanks. I was ambivalent about the Law Firm when his time was up here. Nothing's changed...

I love the kid, his story and work ethic.

But, we're in a good position and something would have to seriously change for him to be considered.

Green Ellis is a better option than Bolden as a backup 1st down running back.

I'm not so sure about that. I think Law Firm has slowed down since leaving N.E. and he never was a breakaway threat to begin with. Bolden arguably has a quicker, more powerful burst at this stage.

The Law Firm had a good run with the team, but I see no reason for him to return should he be cut.

He will wind up in Indy is my guess.

that ship has sailed...especially when you look at how many RBs we have
